I had the oxtail (usually when available) few pieces, some chicken stew and curry goat with a piece of plantain, steamed cabbage veggies and white rice. The food here taste better than golden crust in Fulton Ave, better than Krave in Mamaroneck Ave and Ruth’s in Battle Ave lol. $9.99 per lb but with oxtail it’s $15.99. Kind of pricey but worth it. These mentioned places are all in White Plains area and I tried them all. I stopped going to Golden Crust since there’s a bully there that always sabotages my order. She’s wicked. I’ve been going to GC for years I don’t know why this particular employee always pick on me.
Anyways I have had Carribean Thyme since 2016 when I stumbled upon their store by South Lexington Ave. Now they moved to Court St. I Support local Businesses keep them around long.

This place is hit or miss.. you don’t know if it’s going to be good or nasty. Today was terrible and everything was extremely nasty. The chicken was so dry. Like so so dry. I tried to eat as much as I could because i spent 17 dollars on a large jerk chicken with macaroni& cabbage. I couldn’t take it anymore and three the remainder of the food away. Never coming here ever again, lost a loyal customer forever

The staff here is really nice and helpful. Since it was my first time eating here, I got a little bit of everything. The Mac and cheese, cabbage, and plantains were great! I also tried the jerk chicken and it was very well cooked. Will definitely opt for the larger serving size next time. Although it’s a little pricey, I believe you really get what you paid for.

Everyone complaining about portions remember the food is weighed. Rice and meat heavy! So you have to keep that in mind as well as higher food prices. Aside from that of your early food good late in the day a lil dry. All in all good experience.

WHAT A JOKE!! I walked in for lunch and walked out with two small plates for almost $60. She told me it’s $39.99.00 a Pound!!! I should have walked out immediately. I got three pieces of curry chicken with some vegetables and oxtail. Not even tasty. No spice whatsoever!!! What’s a SCAM!! Save your money!!!

For the price I paid, the portions were very generous I must say. I had the medium stew chicken and soup with Dr. Pepper. Very glad they actually carry that soda too. Their prices are WAY more reasonable compared to Cravin’ Jamaican down the road. Highly recommend it and I will be sure to order here more often!

Food is overpriced! Called about lunch special. The lady on the line said yes! When I get there I get a small plate not even full for $14! Don’t be tricked by buffet style food. Total scam!! Food was horrible and threw out after 2 spoons.! Nothing special!!! Only thing Caribbean about this food was the nasty customer service!

Visiting the area and had a craving for Chinese Food.. But this place caught my eye… ZERO Regrets! Fish was Delicious.. Jerk Chicken was well seasoned.. Fried Chicken? Amazing… Mac And Cheese, to die for.. Sauteed Veggies, SO Tasty.. Curried Goat was scrumptious… Beef Patty was Warm and Flaky and Delicious and the Sorrel Drink I was encouraged to buy was pretty good! Staff was Lovely too.. Quick, Friendly service… 10 Outta 10! A Must Have if you’re in the Area.
