I used to go here all the time when the parents were working for some reason this is the second time I went into the store and something wasn’t right so this time I got three roti’s two of them with Chick peas and potato and one was out the two with the China and potato were mostly potatoes and chickpeas and very very little meat used to be a lot better like that they used to give you no matter what your portion of goat inside the roti and then would have a small amount of China and potato you know roti would be portioned out, but you definitely got your moneys worth so for $19 they gave me hardly no meat definitely not my dollars worth of meat I may have had four or five pieces of meat in each roti, the one that I just ordered the meat in was perfect

My husband always talks about his cultural food from Guyana and how his grandparents makes these delicious foods growing up. Today he found this place, Caribbean Palace, and we ordered to go. First off, soon as you walked in, you can smell the heavenly spices.
I looked forward to tasting Guyanese food. My husband ordered their roti, with Curry shrimp, chickpea and spinach. I ordered the combination platter: Curry goat, Curry Beef, and Curry Chicken on white rice, with Chickpeas and Curry Potatoes, and a side of fried plantains. It was very flavorful especially after adding their homemade pepper sauce. We know next time to request extra “gravy”.

My friend recommended this place to me and it didn’t disappoint. Unfortunately there was no oxtail which I really wanted but I ended up trying the Doubles and what a beauty… it’s not spicy and it’s made with chickpeas. Definitely recommend this place and will be coming back.

ordered the Goat Roti via door dash. I wish I would have ordered from somwhere else. The Roti was too thick and the goat meat was bland, tender but bland. I mean no seasoning, and the spicy sauce tasted old, like a stale taste.so, disappointed, because I was hungry

I’m struggling to see how they’re still in business. I ordered three plates – curry chicken, curry goat, and jerk chicken dinners. They all tasted terrible. Like no curry sauce, the proteins were dry and tough to eat and just not enough seasoning. The rice and peas had a bitter taste to it, because again there was no curry sauce on the food and not enough salt and seasonings. I had to add hot sauce to mine to be able to eat some of it. Unfortunately most of it went in the trash. The curry goat specifically was just boiled goat with no curry sauce, I was so confused. Sorry to leave a negative review but it hurts cause it was genuinely a waste of my money and would hate for others to waste theirs until they improve their flavors.

Not sure why caribbean restaurants in the area are afraid to use salt. Caribbean Palace was the first place I had Trini food 5 years ago and was so disappointed.
I decided to give them another try and the food was exactly the same. Tasteless.
If you go to Trinidad, you’ll taste real Trini food. It has flavour and sauce that leave you wanting more.
We have phrases in Tdad… the food lash so hard, it bruise! and make yuh lick d plate!!
CP’s roti had no channa, very little potato and the smallest pieces of chicken. The doubles literally has no taste.
I’d rather buy a ticket to tdad and get proper food than ever go there again.

I visited this afternoon at approximately 12:30 PM. There was light complexion woman with an arm tattoo sitting down and talking on the phone in the common area. I presumed she was a customer waiting for her food.
After a while, she went behind the counter, offered a half greeting while maintaining her phone call. She was not kind or pleasant and treated me as if I disrupted her day. I walked out the door.
I hope this business is not losing customers as a result of her unprofessionalism and bad attitude.

Caribbean palace has been a staple in this area for a very long time. Let’s dig in, the location is rather busy but still manageable with plenty of parking. The staff was welcoming upon entrance, however some times not so friendly. I got the chicken with bone in roti and the flavors were on point. There could have been more filling inside of the roti however with it being so good that was the least of my worries. I would totally recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

I had a serious craving for doubles and this is the only place that came up around the area. Not in the best area since it’s very congested with traffic, but the food is authentic for sure. The doubles were super tasty and the side sauce of tamarind really added to it. I will definitely be coming back suggest anyone who wants to try trini food to come here and try it.

I went to get a roti due to all the good reviews. The roti was just OK, I would give it 2.5 out of 5 stars. The doubles were also the worst I’ve ever had, 1 out of 5 stars.
In regards to customer service, is was not good. I do not recommend.
