Purchased a large curried goat combo (jerk chicken was the other meat) with Mac and cheese as a side and requested a pineapple drink bit was given a pineapple ginger instead. The drink was lukewarm, the Mac and cheese a bit on the salty and overcooked side and the 2 pieces of fried plantains were underripe. The curried goat was good but the jerk chicken tasted more like a baked chicken than jerk. The texture of the rice was good. The veggies needed a bit more color. There is enough seating in a clean environment and music and televisions to keep your attention while eating. Overall I’d rate this experience a 3/5.

Absolutely delicious best food hands down. I got 3 plates and we had enough to eat the next day. They give you a nice amount of food and it’s flavored to perfection. Well worth my 40 minute drive. We will be back.

Oxtails so hard and tough I could’ve broke my tooth. They’re also not good at all flavor wise. I suggest making the trip to Lawrence Caribbean and getting it done right if you want oxtails. I cannot speak for the other selections, but what I ordered was not appetizing at all and for $30?? The cabbage was very crunchy, but maybe some people I like it that way. I personally have never been to a Jamaican restaurant with hard oxtail. I will NEVER return lol

Today’s Stew chicken wasn’t quite ready… this should nearly fall off the bone, they were tough to tear through. The cabbage was also hard…it was barely looked 5mins (we all know cabbage takes no time)

The entire vibe is irie! I felt like I was transported to a joint in Negril. The food and atmosphere are definitely Caribbean. My curry goat and callaloo was to die for. Everything is delicious and authentic. They have all the Jamaican wants, Ting, Red Strip, Malta. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

I was all ready to give 5 stars after receiving this delicious looking plate. I got the oxtail and chicken combo. Oxtails were amazing as well as the rice and beans and veggies. The chicken was great until I got to the drumstick and saw all the feathers still attached. Literally turned my stomach. To me that signals the meat wasn’t cleaned that well before cooking. If it was no way you would miss all these feathers. One piece of feather I could look past but this was ridiculous. Ugh, I’ll stick with just oxtails next time.

I spent way too much money for such horrible food. The oxtails were sweet almost like canned yams. The rice and peas had no seasoning. And the jerk chicken was dry as hell… the Fruit punch was syrup. I would not recommend this to nobody Highly disappointed

I visit here quite often. I always get the Curry Chicken Plate and my husband always gets the Jerk Chicken Plate. It comes with Callaloo along with rice and beans plus they also give us plantains. The meal is quite filling. It takes both of us two days to finish the meal. Everything is good. The plantains are hit or miss depending on the day. I have gotten the coco bread as well; and it’s decent.

Caribbean Hut is usually my go-to but I was missing the love this go around. I ordered a simple veggie plate with jerk sauce on my rice.

Advice to the owner, please be aware of how often you have stated that you’re sorry. The problem clearly has not been fixed! The female attitudes are horrible!
