Hey man. Listen. Caribbean But it’s a whole vibe man. The staff is nice and authentic. The food looks amazing. The place is intimate, small…so not too much going on like the bigger establishments. I love that you can hear the sounds of the kitchen while the Caribbean music plays in the background. It gives it that neighborhood street feel, and for me that only adds to the experience. The prices are also reasonable. Peep the menu in the photos.
This was a pick up order for me, but while waiting for my food I had a chance to absorb the environment and it made me smile a bit. The place was clean and well kept. A number of TV sets all tunes to different channels for those that like to watch while they eat. And with being located where it’s at in the shopping center, the view is a bit secluded from the movement of the shipping center helping you stay focused on enjoying the atmosphere of the facility.
All in all, a best place for you to stop by and pick up something for you and your folks. Give em a try man.

Ok so we got the coco bread and I was expecting something akin so what I got when I was on vacation, but it low key tasted like kings Hawaiian rolls. The jerk chicken was amazing, I loved it, but the curry goat had a lot of tricky bones, and it was really salty. overall I think it’s a pretty good place, just a few things that weren’t my favorite. Oh! also the price was a bit pricey, I didn’t think the price was worth it…

I am obsessed with the jerk chicken pasta here. I’ve had it multiple times a week! 10/10 one star removed for service because the last time I went it was a different waitress and she got multiple things wrong on our order. Maybe she was new.

Location just opened roughly a week ago, was excited to support a new business. I ordered the oxtail, wife ordered jerk chicken. Both entrees came with choice of rice, mixed veggies and, plantains. Flavor for both entrees were on point! Veggies were great, plantain did what plantain should do and the rice and peas was top notch. Oxtail was prepared with full and robust flavor, gravy was delicious. Jerk Chicken also executed properly and the jerk sauce wasn’t too spicy. Only area of opportunity would be the meat vs bone ratio of each entree. Not necessarily something they can control but I would’ve been willing to pay even a little more for an “extra” meat option. Also they definitely need plantain as a side that can be purchased separately. Other than that I need them to get the liquor license ASAP so we can have trivia night events there! Lots of potential for success there, will just need neighborhood support.

The lady who took our order was funny and greeted us warmly. The resturant smelled good and everything looked clean. The food portions were large. The food itself was excellent! Would definitely go back to try more food off their menu.

I ordered a veggie platter with jerk gravy before closing last night and a side of rice with oxtail gravy on top They only had white rice so I said that was fine but I wanted gravy on top I took a picture of my plate I wish I could upload it There was no gravy on my rice and my platter and very little on my side of rice and only one planting I don’t know if they was running out of items and just gave me whatever but I was really disappointed This has never happened at this location before I’m usually satisfied. I don’t even live by this location anymore. However, I still go here because the customer service in the atmosphere. It’s nice and clean. The staff is always very pleasant. I hate that I had to leave this bad review but I just want you guys to know next time If you’re running out, just let the customer know So they won’t be disappointed

The staff at this Caribbean hut was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The jerk chicken with gravy was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back. The only suggestion I have is that the restaurant was extremely hot; I think they might have a broken air conditioner.

Enjoyed a very nice lunch here which began with a smile and warm welcome on a cold rainy yesterday at this new location in Huntersville, NC.
The food was EXCELLENT!! Seasonings were on point and the food was cooked to perfection!! I enjoyed OXTAIL GUMBO with Curry Shrimp, Hubby had JERK CHICKEN with Curry Shrimp.
Great hospitality, pleasant customer service and DELISH Caribbean-style FOOD can be found at Caribbean Hut in Huntersville which made our visit even more enjoyable.
