I can’t believe it took me this long to try Caribbean Grill! I’ve been there three times in the past week because after the first visit I was completely hooked. Each time I tried something different and every single dish was incredible. The flavors are bold, fresh, and perfectly seasoned — the kind of food that makes you stop mid-bite and go “wow.”
You can tell the food is made with care and authentic Caribbean flavor. Everything I’ve had so far has been amazing, and it’s already become one of those places I keep thinking about going back to.
If you’re anywhere around Johnson City or the Tri-Cities, do yourself a favor and check this place out. Hands down the best Caribbean food in the area. I’m just mad at myself for not discovering it sooner!

Waited an awhile to try this place. The hours of operation was not aligned with our time off. Finally we got to try it and it was so good. Everything we ate was delicious. The couple in the food truck were friendly and even gave us a sample of their soup and it was yummy. The gentleman made tamales with cassava and pumpkin and squash and that was so good too. We now have a new spot.

This place is a must try in Johnson City. Wow! Is always so delicious and you will not leave hungry. The owner likes to bring us extra treats. Like the potato salad the day before Mother’s Day. We shared it since we had so many leftovers. We barely made it there before they closed at 3:00 with our daughter after a nice five mile hike.

This place is incredible! I’d always meant to go, and finally set aside some time. We got yucca fries, jerk chicken plate, the Pollo a la Brasa burrito, rice/beans, and jerk mac salad. PHENOMENAL. Just the right level of spices and very flavorful. I’m usually a person who doesn’t like onions or peppers, but however they’re cooked with everything just works so well together. The passion fruit iced tea is also super refreshing and on point! And to have such friendly and outgoing people working there, even better. Definitely going back here more and recommending it to others.

I LOVED the jerk chicken and their hot sauce is BOMB. I often wish hot sauce was hotter, but their hot sauce offers a punch of heat and flavor! Rice pudding, Jerk Mac, and the rice were all amazing. 10/10

My husband and I went for lunch today and it was FABULOUS! Beyond delicious! I’m not always super adventurous when it come to new cuisine but this is hands down some of the best food I’ve had! The owners were friendly and helpful with the menu… do yourself a favor and give this place a try. I got the pork belly platter and hubby got Cuban sandwich. Both fantastic!

Y’all this place is a must visit for real deal Caribbean food. Rice and beans was legit and the chicken was fall off the bone and loaded with flavor. For $13 and these portions, they’re definitely giving you more than your moneys worth. Great friendly people David Ramos – check it out!
