The meat was perfectly tender—fall-off-the-bone good—and soaked in a rich, well-balanced curry that wasn’t overpowering but still packed with depth and warmth. Every bite tasted like it had been simmering just long enough to let the flavors fully develop.
The oxtails were a standout. Nice, meaty portions, well seasoned, and cooked until tender without being mushy. You definitely get your money’s worth here. While the dish was a little on the greasy side, it didn’t take away from the overall experience—it’s that classic, indulgent Caribbean comfort food that still hits the spot.
Overall, the food felt authentic, hearty, and satisfying. If you’re craving real Caribbean flavors that don’t cut corners, Caribbean Delight is worth the visit. I’ll absolutely be back for another plate.

Caribbean Fireside Restaurant absolutely delivered! I ordered two dishes—jerk chicken and oxtails—and both were unforgettable. The jerk chicken had that perfect balance of smoky heat and bold seasoning, with tender meat that fell right off the bone. The oxtails? Rich, savory, and slow-cooked to perfection. Each bite was comfort food at its finest.
The rice and peas were flavorful, the plantains were sweet and golden a refreshing island touch. You can taste the love and tradition in every plate.

We got the Oxtail dinner. We were very pleased! The meat was seasoned to perfect and fall off the bone tender. I didnt try the cabbage (because I don’t like cabbage in any way), but the plantains were delicious. Food is very much the authentic taste you want. Its not a very big place, so don’t come looking for a huge dining area but it’s cozy. Service was delightful and accommodating
All in all I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back.

The curry chicken with wings and flats from what I could tell packed full of flavor. Plantain was delicious and the cabbage had a little kick to it. I also got the macaroni And cheese pie which had a unique taste that I Enjoyed. I’m washing it all down with a sparkling grapefruit. I will definitely go back and try something else!

I probably received my food within 5 minutes fast easy very delicious real authentic Caribbean food I love it on Puerto Rican myself even the sweet plantains were cooked perfectly I would definitely recommend this to anyone that’s in the area if you get a chance stop by. Wow, food was awesome, almost bit the fork trying to get the last bit of food. Service, fast, location , perfect, spotted in the right place. Did I say that food, was awesome. Had my favorite, Ox tails rice, cabbage and the fresh ginger drink. BAM, It didn’t disappoint me just made wonder why I only got one order. We’ll I’ll be back.
