Ordered a large plate, got half a thigh and chicken leg. Decided to sample before seeing if I should call about the portion received but the flavor wasn’t there. Definitely wasn’t authentic Caribbean food and should probably go back for a refund. Cabbage smelled like dirty dish water, didn’t even attempt. It’s tight in there too.

The oxtails cabbage and rice are all over cooked and lack an unusual amount of flavor. The jerked chicken Mac n cheese and Yams were all a 3/10 at best. No flavor profile no robust Caribbean taste, not worth the trip or money.

I wasn’t sure how to rate the atmosphere because the place is an old shack but it has this authentic vibe thats so real. I wouldn’t change anything about it. You can’t really eat in so everything is made to go. it’s the absolute best Caribbean food I have ever had and I’ve been to dozens of Jamaican restaurants. this is a MUST visit restaurant if your within 100 miles of Decatur. All the famous people have their picture taken with the owner who does the cooking everyday. if you haven’t eaten here you’re cheating yourself out of the best food in Decatur and maybe in Georgia.

Ran past this “Hole in the wall” today, I must say for the second time in my 4yrs in the A, Bae & I found good Jamaica food!! Got the Oxtail Jerk Chicken combo w/rice & peas with plantain, the oxtail was tender, lacked a lil seasoning however the sauce gave it good flavor & the chicken was just as tender!!! I can see us going back to try the goat. Also tried the beef patty, that was just ok to me but everything else great!!!

Every time I’m in the area, I make sure to stop by. I always get there right when they open. The rice and curry chicken is my go-to, and the chicken or beef patty is also a must-try. The prices are great, and the food is always fresh. On my last visit, I even got to watch him make it right in front of me. I would definitely recommend this spot!

#MyfirstTime great experience I came for the lunch special but decided for the Jamaican Fish . It was spicy and yummy.

Great customer service and shared about the menu.

I tried the vegan cabbage rice . That was great.

Overall great experience.

The parking is a little tricky and to find it but once you do.

Just go up.the steps and go through the first door and you will arrive.

You’ll be glad I sent you.

Plus many celebrities have eaten here. All the pictures on the wall.

Monique, Usher, Andre 3000, Kevin Gates just to name a few.

I’ve passed this place in Decatur for years, but for some reason never made it in. Well, I finally stopped by to pick up a late lunch. They have a small parking lot, which should be big enough for its patrons; you shouldn’t have any problem finding an open spot. We entered the very small shop and were greeted warmly. We took a few minutes to figure out what we wanted. Wifey ordered a large Stew chicken with Mac and Cheese, rice and peas, and plantains. I ordered the Chicken Roti. We could see the staff putting the dishes together on the other side of the plexiglass, and we were ready to dig in. I didn’t notice any steam coming off the food; that should have been a clue. Well, we packed up everything and headed home. We started to dig in, and we were both a little disappointed. Not only was the food not hot, it was a little bland. Wifey and I both agreed about the seasoning; both dishes needed some salt or some authentic Jamaican spices.

I love this place! The owner, the staff, and food is always great!!! And like how they greet me when they haven’t seen me in a while. I have been eating here for some years now and the food is authentic. And did I mention that they remember what I always order!!
A large curry chicken, rice, greens, yams and a D&G Jamaican orange soda!❤

I had a taste for jerk chicken and a friend of mine recommended this little hole in the wall. It’s been around for long time and needs some work. The chicken was just ok, spicy but I don’t know how long ago it was cooked. The food is out like a buffet and uncovered so there’s no telling how long ago it’s been cooked. The Mac and cheese was flavorless and rice over cooked. I went on a Sunday evening and it wasn’t busy at all.
