Familiar Italian fare & a sizable wine list are served in warm, unassuming digs with rustic decor.

Cardone’s Restaurant is a hidden gem! We went there for the first time in years just last week—and had to go back again a week later. My favorites are the cracked pepper & short rib agnolotti (I don’t have the culinary vocabulary to properly describe how delicious the sauce is, but it’s absolutely divine) and the bolognese lasagna. The menu doesn’t come close to warning you how phenomenal the lasagna is—layer after layer of rich, flavorful perfection, with bubbly browned cheese on top and served in its own baking dish that keeps it the ideal temperature till the last bite.
And the bread… oh, the bread. Warm from the oven, beautifully seasoned, and utterly irresistible. I’m only slightly embarrassed to admit I polished off an entire basket by myself.
The service is great, and they are so knowledgeable. They love the food themselves and know just how to guide you to a great meal selection.
The ambience is cozy and welcoming inside, and the patio is just as lovely. Definitely call ahead for a weekend reservation—you’ll want to experience Cardone’s for yourself!

So….. the menu is really good. At this point we have tried most things on it. However, you want to go to this place for the specials!!! The regular menu is great, but the specials are special! Example: I would never have tried a pumpkin stuffed with sausage, herbs, and rice. But…. Here we are and it is freaking amazing!

Cardone’s will forever be my favorite restaurant to recommend, bring friends and family, or even dine by myself! The service and atmosphere are impeccable with careful attention to detail. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and my needs are always anticipated. All of the food is made from scratch and fresh when it comes to our table. The specials are always delicious and exciting, not to mention the way that it looks! Every dish I have ordered screams fine dining, and I’m excited to fully work my way through the menu and try everything! Cardone’s is so authentic, I will be a customer for LIFE!

Cardone’s has great food! Our service has always been knowledge and attentive. And the atmosphere is like a small old world Italian restaurant.
They have the best Fried Mozzarella. The cheese is gooey and fresh, the breading is thin and crispy and they serve it with house made marinara—my husband always orders extra marinara. But so good!!!!
We’ve had many different entrees and have not been disappointed by one. Cocktails are also great.

Overall outstanding! The veal and salmon dishes were perfect, the cardone salad is wonderful, and their homemade salted carmel gelato is worth the trip alone. Service (Hannah) was great like always as well. Great little local find!

Dan is a culinary genius in the kitchen. His specialty raviolis, soups, and gelatos are stellar. The quality in the ingredients is always top notch. I either dine at, or get a to go order from here, once a week. I have not had a single thing I didn’t enjoy. I love all the different specials he has. Everyone that works at Cardone’s has been super. I highly recommend a visit. Truly the best Columbus Metro has to offer.

Hidden gem, my first visit. Very nice menu selection, I got the special which was a seafood risotto. Will definitely be back. Reservations recommended for popular times.

This was definitely a mixed bag restaurant. My dish was good, but my mother’s wasn’t. I ordered the chicken parmesan which was really great, but the breading wasn’t as crispy as I usually would like. Then, my mother ordered the margarita pizza. Which was burned the first time it was brought out. Then, when they refired the dish the pizza crust was doughy. Also the cheese on her pizza was a little sour like it was starting to go bad. Our mozzarella sticks(I forget what they called them on the menu) was just meh. Nothing to really rav about unfortunately.

It’s okay. Service was nice. Food and bread took a bit longer than you would expect on a slow evening (not the servers fault, though).
The bread was probably the best thing I tasted lol. The arancini didn’t have a lot of flavor. The salad was eh, I could tell the tomatoes were kind of tasteless/not super fresh. The entree (chicken caprese) was a very nice flavor (balsamic + pesto). But I had to add olive oil to my spaghetti because it was a little dry, and a lot of salt/pepper for flavor. The parmagiano cheese wasn’t the flavorful reggiano you see at a lot of nicer Italian places. Not bad, just had higher expectations.
Nothing WRONG with the place though and again, very nice service! I wouldn’t tell somebody NOT to go there by any means. It’s just kind of hard to recommend it when there are a lot of better places nearby, for the same price.
