Light, good amount of sauce and good sauce flavor, not too much cheese, love the New York style, not too expensive,. Crust is crunchy.
My only possible critique is to crisp the under carriage just a tad more. Solid 8.5 at least.
The wait time on delivery orders can be quite high when they’re busy, but that’s to be expected. Opening up to 3rd party delivery apps could probably help that a bit.
Edit:
I tried the Columbus style and didn’t love it. The bottom was burnt and that kind of dominated the flavor. The NY style, service, delivery drivers, etc, still make this place 5/5 though.
My family comes in to town and specifically requests to go here because it really is very tasty pizza.
But some changes have been made in operations that aren’t very customer friendly.
The menu is now online only. You have to scan a QR code at the table to access a digital menu. This is not a user friendly process for some of us for a variety of reasons. Some customers may have disabilities, struggle to navigate digital formats, have slow phones, or a variety of other reasons. Plus the QR code was on a shiny surface, so our phones struggled to even scan them properly. Please have a printed menu available on request.
The QR code took us to an online menu which was entirely missing the non-alcoholic drink options. This is a shame since this place has some nice bottled soda options. I had to pull up their separate to-go menu in order to find the drinks.
And maybe, you’d say, I could have asked the server to tell me what was available. We’ll that was the other disappointment. She was severely overworked. She was practically jogging thru the tiny area to handle the tables, bar, and take-out orders (incoming and outgoing) all on her own. I certainly didn’t want to bog her down by making her list every option.
She was very friendly and an incredibly hard worker that was doing the best a human could possibly be expected to do, but it was too much! I really hope that was a one off situation, and you usually have 2 people running the front of the house.
Also, potential customers, please be aware that there is only one disability friendly table. They do not allow you to reserve it. All the rest are counter height chairs.
A kitchen staff member completely lost it in the middle of the restaurant — yelling, cussing, getting in the face of the female bartender and even a teen employee. It was loud, aggressive, and honestly embarrassing to witness. He stormed out still swearing, leaving the whole place on edge.
And here’s the part that really shocked me: not a single manager stepped in. Not one person in charge came out to shut it down or support the staff who were taking the brunt of it. That’s unacceptable.
The bartender, though? Absolute rockstar. She kept her cool, handled the chaos with dignity, and did everything she could to protect the atmosphere. She deserved backup — not to be left alone dealing with someone acting completely out of line.
Food was fantastic as always, and I’ll definitely be back. But management needs to take situations like this seriously. Your staff and your customers deserve better.
