I ordered a grilled chicken salad. It looked and smelled delicious. But the lettuce on my salad was still clumped together. I don’t feel that it was properly cleaned. If it’s not pulled apart and washed between the leaves, it’s not clean. I got the same thing last year and it was the same way. Clearly it’s the way they make them all the time. Please, change the procedure on this, in order to help keep your customers safe. Unfortunately salmonella has been really bad the last few years, so I just didn’t eat it. A waste of $6.99 + tax.

I’ve only been here twice (so far) since they opened back up. They have amazing, (but small pieces), fish plates. But it’s definitely good. Hushpuppies and tartar sauce is also great. Will definitely be a repeat customer if they maintain their great food in the future. Also; call your order in ahead of going if you don’t like waiting.

Takes you back to the good old days when you got real REAL food. Hand prepared, not processed in a factory. Highly recommend their slugburgers/doughburgers and the patty melts. Very courteous and friendly car hops.

I was really excited the Cardinal was opening back up. And maybe it’s just because they’re still getting into the groove, but the service is sooooooooo slow. Half of the speakers don’t work. The food is great and the service is friendly. Just slow. I’m sure it’ll improve as they’re open longer.
