Everything was so good!
I came here for the first time during lunch with a friend & Cardamom did not disappoint.
From service to the meal itself, everything exceeded my expectations. Upon walking in, we were immediately greeted and I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and welcoming feel of the restaurant.
The lunch specials were a great deal. Each plate is $14.99 but you get to choose 3 items off the lunch board. I opted for the Chicken Tikka Masalla, Butter Chicken & Channa Puri (Garbanzo Beans). The sweet waitress asked if I liked my food spicy & I replied with an immediate, “yes!” She brought over some chili oil and it brought the dishes to another level.
The lunch serving is very filling but you can receive a free refill of one of your dish options, if you choose.
I’m excited to come back for dinner at some point to explore the options not found on the lunch menu. Until then, the lunch options are well worth it and I’ll be adding Cardamom to my normal rotation.

I had dinner on Friday evening at Cardamom. I was very impressed with the whole experience. The food was incredible, very good flavor and great recommendations from the waitress. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant from the dining area to the restrooms. I feel like some of the downtown restaurants often get forgotten because they off the beaten path. Cardamom is worth the effort to go downtown.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Wonderful atmosphere for a quiet night out with some delicious food. Everything we tried was amazing, and our waitress, Cynthia, was entertaining, informative, and attentive in everything that she did. I would recommend this restaurant to absolutely everyone. Their food is amazing, their prices are great, and the experience is wonderful.

Everything we tried was delicious. Service was top knotch. Atmosphere was welcoming, but very nice. It is a nicer place and we brought our younger children, but felt like they were welcomed just the same. Thank you Cardamom.

Food is decent. We ordered Chicken Tikka masala, Butter chicKen, lamb chops, Dal. Butter Chicken taste was good but it did not taste like butter chicken. Lamb chops were the best item. I have never had so amazing lamb chops. Dal was also tasty.A big no for Chicken Tikka masala. It was runny and it did not have the taste of tikka masala. Also they have chilly oil in case you want the food to be more spicy which was delicious.

Ordered Abi Goo Matar takeout and Garlic Naan. Wished we had dined inside when i saw the lovely decor in dining room. Friendly, curteous bartender. Food was packaged hot (as in temperature) so it was still plenty hot when sat down to eat. Street parking.

What a pleasant surprise to find a Kashmiri Indian Fusion restaurant in Idaho. We went here on our way back from Yellowstone. Food was very delicious and if you are passing through or Visiting Idaho, this is the place to eat. Wonderful Service. Friendly owner and staff. Loved it!!!

We loved the service and food was amazing. The menu is limited, but it has a taste of everything you would want from an Indian restaurant. There are Vegetarian options, some Indian drinks, and the dishes you’d expect to see. The naan is delicious. Decor and atmosphere are lacking, but the restaurant is clean.

The food tasted amazing. The service was fine. The portion sizes were comically, ridiculously tiny. Listen Cardamom, you can’t charge $14 for a 1/2 cup of food (excluding rice). That is right. The entree consisted of about 1/2 cup of actual food. I left feeling hungry and overcharged. You will not make it unless you find a way to charge less or serve more. This would have been a five star review if I had been served a meal.
