Tried this place based on reviews. Got a 6 bone dinner with southern baked beans and macaroni and cheese. Also got a pork chop dinner with yams and mac and cheese. Sides were pretty good. Beans were a little too sweet but not bad. Now for the ribs……….not sure what happened. They had no bbq flavor or smoked flavor and were flat out terrible. The only seasoning was from the sauce. It tasted like they opened the ribs put in an oven cooked and put bbq sauce on it. What a waste. I guess they fooled me. It doesn’t say it’s a bbq place.

I am always happy to see a new restaurant open in the neighborhood. Carbry’s Restaurant has just opened in Eastlake. In the Vineyard’s Shopping Center. My first impression was a very positive one. The dining room was small but very clean. I ordered a Rib dinner with Mac and Cheese and baked beans. The ribs were amazing… fall of the bone moist. I enjoyed the sauce. I also enjoyed the Baked Beans, which much to my surprise, had beef in them. I am definitely impressed and will be coming back for sure.

I had chicken, Mac, and green beans. The chicken was delicious crispy and seasoned to perfection. Everything was good. I am so happy there’s a new and actually good soul food restaurant in my area. Definitely going back
