Here is an announcement that is hard to make. The following link is a personal message from Natalie Carbone Mangini, and below is a letter from the Carbone family. Saying goodbye is always a difficult task. So it is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of our restaurant on Saturday, July 28, 2018. The main reason for our decision centers on family, of course. Operating a large restaurant is an enormous task. For some members of our family, they have never known anything but the restaurant and the majority of their lives have revolved around it. See Facebook for full message.

Homemade Gnocchi is the Best around. Wife loves the Lasagna. The Pizza is Great as well.
Wife and I stopped at Carbones in Crabtree,Pa again last week. We were NOT disappointed, as usual. I had my Gnocchi and wife had her Lasagna both dishes were delicious. The wait staff is excellent. Must stop location if your in Pennsylvania…lol seriously, it’s That Good. PERMITLY CLOSED

This is my wife and I special place to go. We hit it up this time for New Year eve dinner. They graciously bumped up our reservation and hour and got us seated right away. The place was packed. It was nice too see it so busy. No special menu, which is fine, since we each have our favorite menu items. The beef braciole was excellent and my wife had the pasta and meatball, her favorite. Carafe of wine. I had the excellent wedding soup, and my wife loves the dinner salad with house dressing. Service was efficient and we more time than expected to make the movies. Thanks for continued great service Carbone’s staff.

The stuff’s poor chops and mashed potatoes were great. My pasta would have been much better if it would have been homemade pasta. The sauce was really great. Unfortunately while we were there the bathrooms quit working. The staff was very accommodating and let us use the restroom off the backside of the kitchen.

My wife and I had another of several recent meals at Carbone’s last night. She had her favorite Chicken Romano which was very good. I had the Veal Parmesan which was very good also. Since it also came with a side of pasta it was very filling and I was unable to finish both. But the best part of the night was the hot banana peppers with Asiago cheese. They were excellent! We will return soon.

Our family loves this restaurant! Four Generations have eaten here so far! Our family is spread out across the US and The Spaghetti Sauce, Pizza Sauce and Salad Dressing are well received expected Christmas Gifts! Just wonderful Italian food and service!

Carbone’s is our go to Italian restaurant. It is conveniently located in Crabtree next to our church. Saturday evening is church first, Carbone’s second. Natalie is a lovely lady and spends her time walking between tables and meeting her customers.
The food is excellent and is affordable. Good food, good ambience, good times.
We also love their house dressing and buy one or two jars per visit. A good, mild, italian dressing.
We recently had a dinner with 12 of my high school classmates. Our waitress was exceptional and the food, service, and attention was outstanding.
We actually rediscovered Carbone’s after a few years absence. Since then we have been steady customers and invite friends as often as we can. We dined there just this past Saturday with two close friends. Everything was great as was our waitress Debbie.

I am usually a spaghetti and salad guy, but this time we had an antipasto and pizza. The pizza was fantastic and the service by Irene was excellent. Carbones has always been my favorite Italian restaurant in the area. The spaghetti sauce is the best.
