I don’t know why i keep giving this place a chance. I’ve never left satisfied or happy. Today I ordered a pan pizza, it took ages for it and when I did get it, it was gross. Veggies are cut too thick and came out raw. I took one bite and asked for a box. I’m not even asked about my food again, I think it is clear I’m not pleased. Oh well, my mistake and I won’t make it again.

This Carbone’s location has a lot of potential, but seems like there’s something missing here lately? Last few visits the pizza is just OK, crust really is just lacking in flavor and consistency. But lots of options!
The service we’ve had here has been great a few times and also sub par, hit or miss really. Wouldn’t completely scratch this off my list!

We ordered a double crust pepperoni and bread bites online. The order was supposed to be done at 6, but I do understand that those times are just closest estimates. However, my pizza took almost an hour. People were coming in after me and getting food before me. “It’ll be about 5-10 min” turned into “just 10-15 min more” 20 minutes after the first 5-10 minutes.
I had to grab my oldest Subway, drop him off and come back. After I came back, I had to wait approximately 5 more minutes for my not very hot pizza and bread bites.
The pizza was solidly mediocre, and the bread bites were rolled in salt I think. We tossed it and the rest of the family went to jimmy johns.
The folks in the kitchen were at least having a great time laughing and eating pizza. I need this kind of job- just work at your own pace and don’t worry about it… we used to be fairly frequent visitors to Carbones- it seems like after Covid, the quality died. This trip was the final straw— we are done.

Most kinds of art are for viewing. You can see and admire, maybe touch. But this kind is my favorite. It’s art-ichoke dip, and you get to eat this masterpiece 😉
Spinach Artichoke Dip to start, and The Super Pizza to finish at Carbone’s in Mound
This dip took us on a trip. The hearty ‘chokes went so well with the thick, gooey, three-cheese blend. I’d have liked some bread maybe, but the chips were fine if a spoon was used.
The Super comes with double crust — I don’t know what that totally means, but it held up well to the heavily applied toppings. It was hard to cut through but I didn’t complain too much.
The flavors though… woah.
Salami, sausage, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, a bunch of vegetables, garlic, and extra cheese, of course. This pizza is for the adventurous eaters who want to try everything!

Great Place to get good American and Italian food! Kevin the kitchen manager will cook it all for you! From pizza to burgers and fries! Beer and mixed drinks also! They have it all!

I was visiting family in Mound this day. Walked into the outside seating because I needed a meal and to bring my dog with. Staff was welcoming to us both. Asked for a burger for my dog, staff even asked how he would like it! Very enjoyable to be able to sit outside with my buddy and have a beer and something to eat. Thank you for the hospitality Carbone’s!

This is the 5th time in 3 months we have ordered delivery. They have gotten our order completely correct once out of 5 times. Very frustrating. Pretty sad when you order a Chicken ceasar wrap (menu item) and it comes with absolutely no chicken. Sandwiches not correct. If they do not want you to make choices or changes do not give customers the option.

Ordered a pizza to go. It took a good 45 minutes. I ordered a small specialty pizza. It cost approximately $20 which, to me, the food quality didn’t match the cost.

I walked in ordered drank 2 beers it was taking so long the order was changed to go. I thought the grilled chicken sandwich was over priced at 14 so I went with the so called famous hoagie but it only has one slice of ham folded over. I would not recommend also it was take out with a Caesar salad but no fork. Total was 38 with a 12 tip spent 50 on a buzz and un edible food I took off everything and added it to the other bun it was tasty.
