Tried the 12 oz sirloin steak cooked medium rare. It was pretty good. A little undercooked for what I asked but still good. The green beans were absolutely delicious. They had bacon and red onions and the baked potato was great. The salad that came with the dinner was perfect and seem very fresh. The appetizers we had were onion rings, chips and queso and barbecued chicken wings. All were very good. I was very impressed. The waitress there was absolutely wonderful and stop by many times to check on us. I was very impressed with the service as well. Thank you!

Don’t listen to the bad reviews! This place is actually good! Had the jalapeño poppers, side salad, top sirloin, mixed veg and mashed potato’s.The steak was cooked perfectly. My boyfriend had a Burger with red peppers and fries. Juicy burger and crispy fries, just how he likes it. The waitress was very new, but nice. The owner was wonderful too! Remember they are just opening they will be serving the full menu in two weeks.

I ate the Beef Fajitas Flambéed and drank a Strawberry Margarita. My friend ate the Papa Loca. This place is fabulous! Authentic Mexican food made to perfection. The atmosphere is casual classy and service was excellent. I have a moderate appetite, the portions are large enough for me to take home some of my meal. This was a wonderful experience.

This place is very clean and the food was amazing. I enjoyed every single bite. We are definitely coming back. Under new ownership, huge improvements. Good old 70’s classic rock playing on the speakers above. Not too loud, just right. Great for reminiscing or a conversation starter. The price was equal to the overall quality. Thank you, Heidi 😉

On a darker note: NOT all recipes here are your grandma’s.
And, not every dish is traditional. This is a new restaurant. Some of the people’s reviews here are nothing but intented on destroying a business. SHAME on you!

Edit: I came back, steak was so tender again but this time I also got pot roast, OMG it was literally amazing… the green beans were so delicious I can’t even explain them but I still stand by them being a little too pricey, $90 on 2 people (we did get appetizer and a beer) if you got some extra dough you should stop by and don’t forget to get greenbeans

Its a pretty good place, everything was good. The steak was super tender! The dip is to die forrrrr! The only thing I didn’t like was the Alfredo, it taste Jared I was really hoping for homemade…. we will be back. We spent $100 on this whole thing. Also the waitress is sweet

Maybe it’s because we came at an off time, or maybe they are too new. My experience here was not very favorable.
The time was after 4 in the afternoon, and the place was almost empty.
I ordered a taco salad with tomatoes and onions on the side. I chose to add steak for $5. My taco salad did not have taco meat, only the chopped steak. It tasted good, but adding a meat shouldn’t subtract the taco meat.
My dinner mate ordered chicken taquitoes for an appetizer and the garlic shrimp special. He was happy with both dishes. The taquitoes didn’t look like much but tasted good, and the salsa had a nice kick.
I had hot tea, and he had soda. The single tea bag and mug of water was $3.95.
The soda was $3.75. The prices were not listed on the menu, so I blame myself for not asking. No water was offered.
The chicken taquitoes were listed as $11.99 on the menu and rang up as $15.99. The price was fixed when I brought it up at the register.

Four stars because of the staff. They were attentive, welcoming, and overall a pleasure. The food is hit and miss as of now. I do think there is room for improvement in a few areas and this place has great potential. As a local I want so desperately for local businesses to thrive. First things first, the steak was the best part, the toast that comes with the pasta is the second best part and the fried fish is ALL FISH not just breading, crispy, and flavorful. The kids menu needs work, basic options which is good but does not come with options for sides. The Alfredo needs to be remodeled top to bottom because it tasted like it came from a frozen bag and was plopped on the plate. I am hoping the owners read these because I do think their menu has potential and with a few improvements I could see myself coming back. Lastly I think the atmosphere is awful. It’s outdated decor, smells like an old shoe, and truly has no vibrancy or life to it.

Four of us ate Sunday lunch here. Two people shared the molcajete, one ate nopales and I ordered an appetizer for my lunch (molletes). Everyone enjoyed their food. The two with molcajete really liked the steak. I thought the molletes was the perfect amount of food. I would return. The steaks are a bit pricy but willing to try them after trying the steak portion of the molcajete.

My wife and I gave this new restaurant a chance, despite some negative reviews. We were hopeful about a pleasant dinner experience. However, upon arriving, we noticed that the parking lot was nearly empty, which immediately raised concerns. Nevertheless, we decided to go inside. The server greeted us warmly, and the restaurant itself was impeccably clean. Being a fan of lasagna, I was eager to try theirs. After a brief wait of about ten minutes, our food arrived. Unfortunately, upon first glance, the lasagna appeared unappetizing. It lacked sauce and was only lukewarm. Moreover, the meat tasted old, and there was an excessive amount of grated Parmesan cheese. The greasiness of the dish attempted to compensate for the lack of sauce, resulting in an unpleasant taste. To be honest, it was a disappointment. The noodles were greasy and had a leathery texture, while the excessive amount of ground beef was overwhelming. The owner should be ashamed of serving such subpar food. If I had the option, I would give this restaurant zero stars. My advice would be to save your money and opt for a meal at Applebee’s instead.
