Overall solid experience on my first visit. Anything with steak in it is bound to be good here. I had the steak fajitas and nearly stuffed myself, but had to take some home. Good portions. Also liked the margaritas; they definitely make a good Cadillac.

Only complaint would be on the tostada & salsa appetizer. Not much value there at $4.50, and they’re a little stingy with the salsa, though they bring 3 types. I’ve always been one for sharing a larger bowl of salsa, and I don’t like having to keep asking the server to bring more.

The service was spot-on, and everything we ordered came quickly. I’ll definitely come back and try some other menu items!

!Warning! You maybe overcharged for dinner prices when you order for lunch.

It’s kind of disappointing because we were happy with the food, but we ended up with surprises in our bill. Specifically we ordered the fajitas which were listed for $13.90 for lunch and when the bill came they changed us $25. We asked if this was correct and they said that we don’t do the lunch fajitas on Saturday and also there is a extra $5 for mixing beef and ship. None of this was mentioned to us when we placed the order. We thought we missed this in the menu so we paid, left a good tip and when our way.
As I’m writing this review, I double checked the menu photos and there is no note about lunch prices not being valid on the weekend (you can even place an order online for the lunch price). I’m fine if the price is $25 just make it clear in the menu so that there aren’t surprises when the bill comes.

Another issue is that the toilet in the mens room has no door.

Other than that, the food was good overall, papa loca could have a bit more meat in my opinion. Service was good outside of the pricing issue, the atmosphere was pretty relaxed.

A hidden gem in the Port Orchard area.

The Carbon Mexican Steakhouse is a great place to experience a bit of Mexican food and a bit of classic steak entrées. This restaurant is what I consider to a hidden gem because it is literally hidden in a shopping center where you would not expect. It is about 10 mins from the Port Orchard waterfront and not near any desirable businesses shopping, etc., aside from a gas station and a commercial truck driver license school.

The food is very good. The portions are worth mentioning as most single entrées can be shared between two people. Cocktails are decent and affordable. The prices for food are a bit on the expensive though. While the food tastes and looks yummy, the prices seem a bit inflated. The food is well decorated and seemingly made fresh per order. Service can be a bit, inpatient from my experience. My group and I felt that the waitresses forced us to order food before fully reviewing the menu options. The waitresses were helpful nonetheless.

The parking situation during dinner times on the weekend does not seem like an issue, however I can foresee parking being a problem during lunch hours and/or when the other businesses are open in the shopping center.

The interior is designed appropriately for the price. Very new and clean looking, not the typical Azteca type Mexican restaurant.

Overall, a wonderful place for dinner, dates, and lounging.

Really good flavors, not just another Mexican restaurant. We had chicken, asada, and pastor street tacos and they were all delicious. Get the chips and salsa, they aren’t free but they are tasty and unusual. The service was very good and super friendly. Don’t forget to ring the bell if you like the food, I did!

Our Party of 4 came in late in the afternoon on a Saturday and had an absolutely fantastic dining experience. The drinks were over the top great flavor. The presentation was perfect from the salsa to the steak. The patrons and staff were fun and friendly and greatly accommodating to our little group. The tall chairs and tables by the bar are really comfortable and at the perfect height to enjoy the mountains of quality food that came out of the kitchen. The tequila was hands down some of the best I ever had. If you haven’t been there yet, check it out!

Went here because of a recommendation but were disappointed. We were the only ones at the restaurant and our service was pretty slow. We ordered Lolli corn and Queso fundido for appetizers and they were good. Then we had Arroz con Pollo, Wagyu Zabuton, and Agava burrito. The food was hot however it was just ok. The steak was not tender and the burrito did not have much flavor. The peppers in the arroz con Pollo were under cooked. Not sure we would come back.

Visited recently, the welcome was ok compared to other patrons that showed up – I would expect to be welcomed in like everyone else. As we sat to order, we got a bit more comfortable.. Hats off to the chef, and this restaurant because the food was really good.. I ordered the Pina El Pastor and hubby ordered the Fajita steak tacos, they were sooo Good. Salsas that went a long with the dishes were flavorful.. Wish they had chips and salsa like other mexican restaurants but I understand the type of restaurant their going for..decore was very nice and well thought of. Restrooms were super clean & nice too. Make sure you support our local eateries – tip well if you can!

I have ordered uber eats from them multiple times, and have never been disappointed. Today I finally went to the actual restaurant and was blown away!!! The food was beyond amazing, the decor was great, and the prices were even better. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! The presentation of the food was amazing, and the flavors were all there. I HIGHLY recommend to everyone!!!! I have absolutely NO complaints. I want to go back again, and again!!!!!
I’m also on a low carb diet, and there were PLENTY of menu choices that I didn’t have to skimp out on! I was very happy!

I don’t know where to start. The decor is light and happy. The food is the best I have ever experienced. Better than Mexico City at the Zocalo good .

On my first visit I ordered the Tacos de Pulpo with a Victoria beer. Three blue corn tortillas heaped with tender octopus and filling that are drizzled in lime. Served on the side are rojo and verde salsas, along with a finely diced pico. These are tacos that should be savored and eaten slowly. Each bite is exquisite.

On my second visit I brought my wonderful wife.

Laurie ordered chicken tamales and according to her they were “the best I’ve ever had.” I tried a bite; yes, VERY good. I’ll order that next time, along with elote.

I ordered stuffed jalapeno peppers with cream cheese and bacon. Incredible. My main course was asado tacos wrapped in cactus leaf. I can’t express how good they are. Stuffed so full, these could easily be four tacos. And once again, delicious rojo, verde salsas and pico de gallo.

I can’t wait to come again. I’ll try everything on the menu.
