We went to The Carbon City Cafe around lunch time. The food was good and well prepared. I had a patty melt while my wife enjoyed a French dip. Service was pleasant and quick and our drink glasses never even made it to halfway before being refilled. Pricing was extremely fair if not low for the amount and quality of the food offered. We will definitely make a return trip to try some of the other menu items.

Got 2 seafood platters. They were terrible! The fish and fries overcooked. The fish was mushy, the fries were tough and dried out. The hush puppies were dry also. Will not return.

We have been 2 times. Both times, food was delicious. Great portions. Great pricing. Service was awesome. Staff is very friendly. Great family friendly atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Server was nice. Food is horrible. Ordered whiting platters on adult meals and kids meal and the fish was bad. Told them it was bad and they took it away didn’t offer us new order of something else and still charged us full price even though we couldn’t eat it and didn’t eat it. Do not recommend this place and def will not be back.

Just a little off the beaten path, but well worth the drive, great fried chicken and sides, try the Monte Rey chicken sandwich and fries too. Enjoy the food and atmosphere to go with it.
