Nice sandy beach but getting into the water is pretty rough. Shoreline is solid rocks and boulders and pose some danger of slipping. Water is beautiful and warm though. Nice set up with your own cabana with service from the hotel. Food and wine were very good.

Well worth the trip here. Beach is not crowded compared to Isola Bella Beach. Staff is very accommodating with good food and drinks. Buy water shoes from vendor.

Our recent visit to Caravella restaurant & beach club left us with a truly positive impression. First and foremost, the customer service was commendable. They respected our reservation, and the staff ensured that we were comfortable and well-attended throughout our visit. It’s a place that understands the value of making guests feel at ease.

One of the aspects that stood out was their commitment to a seamless experience. We didn’t have to worry about getting back to our hotel after a lovely day at the beach club. They efficiently coordinated transportation, ensuring we had enough time to freshen up before the evening. This thoughtful gesture added to the overall convenience and enjoyment of our visit.

Caravella is also a great choice for those who appreciate affordability without compromising on the quality of their day at the beach. The pricing was reasonable, and it included essentials like beach chairs and umbrellas (though towels were separate). While we didn’t get to sample their food, our experience here was quite satisfactory. There are slightly more upscale beach clubs in the vicinity, and depending on your preference, you might explore those. However, for a combination of great service and a convenient location, I would gladly recommend Caravella beach club. It’s a relaxed and pleasant spot to soak up the sun and enjoy the stunning Italian coastline.

this is a located along via Nazionale.
When you walk down the steps from the highway you’re are near the corner of the bay where there are beautiful rock formations, you can snorkel or borrow a raft to float and relax on the sea.
LaCaravella is beautifully maintained,
Dominic is very professional and his staff works very well together pampering the clients with top notch h service in the restor at your beach chair.
The food is delicious. We had a Canadian lobster with linguine & dentice(red snapper in humido)
They have a Beer on tap and a full bar.
The view of Atlantis Bay hotel, which is a four seasons resort and is absolutely gorgeous.
Look forward to returning next year.

We stayed at the Airbnb across the street so La Caravella was our go-to spot for drinks, food, and beach access. €15 per day to rent a beach chair, can place orders from your chair. The food and staff are amazing! Julio, Rosario, and owner Dominic are super hospitable and we had a great time getting to know them. Highly recommend!

This is a black volcanic shingle beach but the sea is friendly and swimming and wading are possible and pleasant. Views are lovely. Don’t let the beach description put you off either it’s fine. Beach is private and used exclusively by a selected number of hotels including Continental where I stayed and can highly recommend. The beach bar here is excellent. I am Coeliac with nut intolerance as well and I still ate well here and the food was delicious. Fish here is plentiful and very tasty. I thoroughly recommend it. Risotto is a good choice too but don’t go for a pasta option. The cocktails are also generous and boozy. The sunbeds used are a design I’d not seen before with a flipped head rest that triples as a tray and sunshade as well. There are also beach umbrellas available, reasonable in hire price and effective. It’s a good value for money place to spend a day with all you need including showers and changing rooms all provided.

A great escape from Taormina to the beach. Really friendly and accommodating. We used the beds, hired towels, ate lunch and took a little refreshment at the sunbeds.
Don’t do what I did – be sure to buy the beach shoes! The beach is stony and the gravel sharp…but the water beautiful.
Dominic has a great lido, though you do pay. They do a free pickup and drop back to Taormina.
