We came to Myrtle Beach for three days and spent two of them at Caravan Restaurant. The first evening we found it by chance — it’s conveniently located within walking distance from the resorts. The food and service from Nikita were so excellent that we came back the next day for lunch to try more dishes.

The owner, Temur, welcomed us like old friends. He personally served us, offered new dishes and desserts — everything was amazing!

We highly recommend this place to everyone. We’ll definitely be coming from Raleigh again just for the food and the wonderful atmosphere.
Thanks from Alex and Lena.

This organic Uzbek restaurant was delicious! The owner was so sincere and funny. Definitely worth a try while you’re in Myrtle Beach. The sautéed eggplant appetizer was fresh and delicious. The chicken lyulya was tender and flavorful. The salsa it’s served with it exactly the right thing for it. The beef stroganoff was not what I’m used and that’s fine. It’s so good.

Lagman was an excellent choice — so tasty and satisfying. I highly recommend stopping by to try it for yourself. The Uzbek plov was absolutely delicious as well. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

A true hidden gem!
Caravan absolutely blew us away — everything we ordered was delicious. The roasted chicken had incredibly crispy skin and juicy, springy meat. It had clearly been carefully prepared, butterflied before roasting, and came out perfectly golden and fragrant.

The chicken pilaf was another standout — every grain of rice was lightly coated in oil and packed with flavor. My kids couldn’t stop eating it! The chicken pieces were fresh and generous, and the carrots were sweet and crisp.

The lamb kebab had zero gaminess — tender, well-seasoned, and beautifully textured. The pickled onions on the side were a great touch, adding a light acidity that balanced the richness.

The house salad was refreshingly crisp with a tangy vinaigrette, and even the fries were a pleasant surprise — chewy and flavorful, much better than your average fast-food version.

We also tried the manti, dumplings filled with lamb and onion, served with a creamy yogurt sauce. The lamb had a bit of that distinct flavor, but I actually really liked it — it made the dish feel more authentic.

And don’t miss the Napoleon cake — this was the best version I’ve had outside of Eastern Europe. Lightly sweet, flaky and creamy in all the right ways, each bite just melted in the mouth.

The restaurant decor is cozy and full of character — you can really tell the owners put a lot of heart into it.

Heads up: They don’t take tap-to-pay, but regular credit cards are no problem.

Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be coming back!

This is a must try… unique, delicious, homemade Uzbek cuisine. Everything we had was made by hand and you could tell!

The staff was very friendly and attentive, without being overbearing. They took the time to share their knowledge of the dishes and made us feel right at home. It’s rare to find a place that combines great food with such sincere and personal service.

This place offers a refreshing, authentic experience — a breath of fresh air from the usual. We will return and enjoy another wonderful, feel good meal. Highly recommended!

My husband and I came here for dinner and were so happy we did! The food was excellent. We ordered the lamb shank with quinoa and veggies. And the Rice Pilaf with lamb and carrots. Dessert is a must – with Medovik, a sort of layered honey cake. The atmosphere – friendly, decor – in great taste, with beautiful Items from Uzbekistan. We really enjoyed our experience there and highly recommend it!

Don’t let the exterior of this spot fool you! It’s not so visually appealing from the outside, but you’re not eating the exterior now, are you?

There’s a unique feel about the interior that you don’t see in many places in town. I’ll say it has Middle Eastern vibes.. even tho I’ve never been to the Middle East…

We were there for lunch today
The service was friendly, and recommendations were on point, as I had zero clue as to what Uzbek cuisine was about.

We had both versions of the pilaf, Uzbek & and chicken. VERY GOOD flavor profiles! Unsure what spices were incorporated into the dish but they were EXTREMELY tasty! Much more going on than chicken, rice and carrots!

I also had the Feta & Olive appetizer which had a balsamic drizzle and fresh basil … The feta was obviously a higher quality feta than many restaurants use. I say that because it tasted so much better than others!

The table beside us noted that the hot tea they had was some of the best they’d had in the Myrtle Beach area. They specifically pointed out they use loose leaf tea which they say provides a better overall flavor profile.

Bottom line..

Go check them out for yourself! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

If you are looking for something different and delicious to try, this is the perfect place to visit!
My family and I enjoyed an exquisite meal, the restaurant in general looks really clean, has interesting decoration and awesome staff.
We are a family of four, in total we spent about $110
Which is a good price for fresh and complete meals.
The quail was perfect, the dumplings soup delicious, literally all the food was amazing!
It took a while to prepare our dishes but the server let us know in advance, and explained to us that it is because they serve the food fresh.
I highly recommend you all this restaurant!!!

Everything was so good! I have tried few Uzbek restaurants before. This is the best one. I do not even eat lamb, but their samsa was outstanding, so I could not resist. My favorite part was deserts. The Napoleon cake made my night.
