I wasn’t sure what to expect here. I knew my friend Johnny works at the restaurant, but as a part-Sicilian Northeasterner who’s lived in LA for 8 years, Italian food has to work extra hard to impress me. I fully expected to be disappointed…
I was wrong. Completely wrong.
This place ended up being incredibly fun — from the speakeasy bar hidden behind the candy counter to the outdoor veranda overlooking the Strip. Perfect spot for our group of five hungry bodybuilders visiting from Chicago and Boston.
We ordered everything family-style, and here are the standouts:
⭐ Must-Orders
• Garlic Cheese Bread
The absolute star of the night. We ordered it three times. Whatever they put in this, it’s magical. Even our lactose-intolerant friend jumped in.
• Cavatelli Bolognese
My second favorite. The pasta shape and sauce are a perfect match. I don’t think I can go back to bolognese on spaghetti or penne after this.
• Veal Parmigiano Meatballs
Soft, rich, flavorful, and—thankfully—without the excessive breadcrumb filler so many places use. We ordered three plates.
❌ Miss of the Meal
• Chicken Parmigiano
All three plates were dry. Surprisingly so. Easily the weakest part of the night.
Dessert Redemption
The cheesecake saved the ending — huge slice, great flavor, and worth sharing (or not).
Despite one miss, everything else was outstanding, and the overall experience was fantastic. I’ll definitely be back.
And seriously — ask for Johnny “Sin City.” He’ll take care of you.
The oysters were remarkably fresh; I could taste the ocean! The garlic mozzarella bread was made to order and baked to perfection, and the Caesar salad was truly perfect in its balance with all those fresh ingredients; it was absolutely the best I’ve ever had. For my main course, the 14-oz dry-aged NY steak was expertly charred – rare. I also couldn’t resist ordering their Spicy Penne entree as a side dish (LOL), which was cooked Al Dente and so delicious. My only regret was being too full to try the Tiramisu, a consequence of ordering two entrees!
I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in Vegas and looking for a fantastic meal, a fantastic fine-dining experience in services, and more…
Shout-outs to the amazing manager, Louisa, who checked on me five times to ensure all my expectations were exceeded while sharing some pleasantries; my server, John, for his wonderful service, along with other staff members who helped solidify the experience of my initial visit. Thank you!!!
I love the background 80s’ music! ❤️
SEE YOU SOON!
Now for service, we had an enthusiastic, yet professional server named Jimmy. He went above and beyond and even found out what company designed the restaurant for us after we complemented the style and artwork. It’s beautiful inside with an Italian twist on the 1970’s.
Can’t wait to go back! Kudos to the chef…real talent!
We arrived when it first opened, and had a reservation for 10am. We were seated immediately and put on the balcony. It was a nice morning and the view was lovely. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive and made great suggestions. All the food was of very good quality. I can say we enjoyed everything with the exception of the zucchini hash, but that is likely mostly due to personal preferences. The veal meatballs were a standout, as were the tiramisu french toast. We got so full, I felt a little bad because we couldn’t finish everything, though we tried.
To be honest, we did enjoy ourselves, and I’d be open to coming back.
Note, they do take Caesars drink vouchers here.
Food:
Glass of Cabernet
Garlic Cheesy Bread -Amazing!!!
Caprese Salad – The tomatoes were cut too big.
20 oz Rib Eye- It was seasoned well and cooked perfectly- medium temperature. So tender…
Overall, it’s a great spot and I can’t wait to dine here again.
TIP: If you want to sit along the wall for a better view, there is a fee.
Our servers, Brian and Ariel, went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. They were attentive, friendly, and consistently checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Their warm and professional service truly elevated the entire dining experience.
Overall, it was one of the best brunch experiences I’ve had great food, amazing drinks, and exceptional service. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and satisfying brunch spot!
