I went to Carmella today for the buffet iftar and it was amazing. The beef shawarma was very good and the rice with lamb was outstanding. They also had many other food choices and a large dessert section with lots of options.

The buffet was only $34.99 which is a very good deal. You can also get hookah with the buffet for only $14.99.

The decor and atmosphere were beautiful. Overall it was a very nice experience and I highly recommend it.

Caramella cafe is a Fabulous restaurant and hookah place in Countryside, Potomac Falls. We had their Amazing Zataar bread, freshly made and hot, delicious hummus Lehme (hummus, chick peas, spiced beef, and roasted nuts over a baked in crunch). We also enjoyed their mint tea to warm us up. Great ambiance to enjoy lounging with your friends. Friendly staff. Definitely will visit often. Highly recommend.

I had the chance to visit Caramella during their soft opening and everything was amazing. The food was incredibly fresh, delicious, and truly authentic. The manaeesh was perfect, and the fettah was absolutely great. The staff was super friendly and sweet, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be going back and can’t wait for their official opening!

From the moment I walked into this place I felt like I stepped into Lebanon. The first thing that stood out to me was the design and structure of this place. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the decor reflects real Lebanese character. This place doesn’t just serve great food but also a memory.

The food completely lived up to the beauty of the space. Every dish was full of flavor. The flat breads, main dishes , cold/ hot appetizers and everything else was delicious and very appetizing.

I had a chance to meet the Chefs, which took their job very seriously and had so much confidence that their food was top in the area. Which was true, I’ve never tased Lebanese food in Virginia this good and incredible. They are very experienced and professional and very welcoming.

Caramella cafe is new but what’s so impressive is that they’re already very successful. Overall everything is amazing and thriving ! I would definitely be back.

Came for iftar and initially had an issue with our reservation because they were overbooked. They weren’t going to be able to seat us. However, the manager quickly stepped in and completely turned the experience around. He made sure we were still able to eat and eventually found us a place to sit. He was incredibly kind and even insisted that we didn’t pay.

The food was amazing and the atmosphere is fun. The entire staff was so generous and welcoming. Even though things didn’t start perfectly, they were able to turn the situation around and were so hospitable that it made up for everything. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We went for the iftar buffet today and had a very disappointing experience. I had made the reservation about a week in advance, expecting the restaurant to be organized and prepared for the crowd. However, when we arrived, we still had to wait in line for about 15 minutes before getting a table, which was already frustrating given that we had a reservation.
After finally being seated, we hung our jackets on the chairs and went to get food from the buffet. When we returned with our plates, we were shocked to see that another group had been seated at our table. Apparently, the manager had told them to sit there without checking that the table was already taken. This was extremely unprofessional and showed a clear lack of communication and coordination among the staff.
We then had to stand there holding our plates while the manager tried to find another table for us. We waited for about 20 minutes, but they still couldn’t arrange proper seating. At that point, the situation became very uncomfortable and frustrating, especially while holding food and having nowhere to sit. Eventually, our family decided to leave because the entire situation was poorly handled.
On top of that, the restaurant was extremely overcrowded. There were far too many tables and chairs squeezed into the space, making it difficult to even walk around. The environment was chaotic, loud, and very poorly managed. It felt like the restaurant accepted more reservations than they could realistically accommodate.
The food itself was also disappointing. Much of it was cold and seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. The staff also struggled to keep the buffet stocked, so many items were either empty or not refilled in time. The overall taste of the food was average at best and mostly bland and tasteless, which made the experience even more frustrating given the price.
The waiters were slow and seemed overwhelmed, and overall the service lacked professionalism. There was clear miscommunication among the staff and a lack of organization in managing guests during such a busy time.
We were a group of four and ended up spending almost $200 for an experience that was stressful, disorganized, and not worth the money at all. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not recommend this place for iftar. It seems they are not prepared to manage large crowds or provide the level of service that customers expect, especially during such an important time like Ramadan.
