Since this iconic Sarasota Italian restaurant is moving to their new location soon, I had to dine in one more time! The old spot will be missed As usual the food didn’t disappoint! We ordered the meatball appetizer, (gone before i could take a picture lol ) 3 delicious meatballs topped with ricotta and house made marinara. I highly recommend that dish! Then for dinner we ordered 2 ravioli meals, one with Bolognese sauce and the other as it comes and Angel hair topped with Bolognese and meatballs, everything was fresh and so delicious! It reminded me of my late fathers cooking. Then for dessert we had the Spumoni Sundae and oh my! Another must have! (Also not pictured!) Looking forward to seeing you guys again in your new place! Thank you for the great times over the years! Also our server was awesome!

This Italian restaurant has a variety of great food and drink options. With its great welcoming environment, I was able to enjoy my 50th bday here. The food was absolutely tasty. I had the lasagna which was yummylicious.

This was my second visit here…. My first visit a couple of years ago wasn’t worthy of a positive review because the service that time was horrible… but I gave them a second chance today as I wanted to take advantage of their summer bogo36 offer. This visit was much better, greeted and sat quickly, our server was very nice and attentive and the food was great! The one thing I do love about this location is its charm and atmosphere… I just hope that the new location will be the same. Based on this visit I will be back!

Sooo Caragiulo’s Italian American was on my list for our Sarasota visit and I’m glad we went. I love some good Italian food, and they did not disappoint. The restaurant had that classic Italian vibe, but the real star was the food. Everything was flavorful without feeling too heavy, and we left happy and full. If you’re in the area, definitely add this spot to your list.

This was the first restaurant I tried down here in Sarasota and what a great start it was! For appetizers, we started with some really solid wedding soup and the very earthy yet rich avocado bruschetta. The entrees were also delicious. My parents had a three-topping pizza which was absolutely phenomenal. The cheese was super creamy and the crust had a nice brick oven crunch. I got a calzone, which was stuffed with ricotta cheese and pepperoni, and it was totally amazing, especially with its crispy, perfectly cooked dough. The restaurant had an intimate Italian atmosphere and Rebecca, our server, was super nice. Definitely a great spot for Italian-American eats!

This was our first time trying this place and it was absolutely terrible.
This was a delivery order.
They mixed sauces with the chicken parmigiana- red sauce on the chicken and a cream sauce on the pasta below it – it seemed they were to lazy to prepare pasta with the marinara sauce and just threw some of the pasta from the chicken with vodka sauce entree under the chicken parm entree.
The salad was small and pretty pathetic for nearly $8.00.
The 3 cannoli were the size of my pinky finger with a nice presentation but not so tasty.
I was honestly expecting more with the reviews.
Horrible experience and waste of $104.00 (pre-tip)

Great BOGO deal! Our server was great and the lasagna was delish! We also appreciate the convenience of including the gratuity calculating the pre-discount total on our bill and I’m sure the server is appreciative of this as well. We had been there before taking advantage of this summer/anniversary deal and based our tip on the pre discount total before you automated this. Smart move and we are looking forward to seeing you at your new location soon!

Great Italian food in Sarasota with inside or outside seating. My chicken piccata was absolutely delicious. The wines are very good and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

I definitely can’t wait to come back! I’m looking forward to sitting in the formal dining area. We sat in the bar area. Which was completely fine and we felt like something very casual like pizza. The pizza was absolutely amazing! I can ever remember having! And the flavors, everything was so fresh! The wine was tasty. I did not look at the complete wine menu but whatever we ordered was delicious. I definitely can’t wait to come back when we have more of an appetite and order dessert. I know that this is family owned by a few brothers and it supports several families and I think they’re great, the only problem I have is with Owen’s fish camp LOL you can’t make a reservation in the place is always packed it just seems like it’s a local it’s just not worth going to which is totally disappointing. Veronica’s is nice it’s pretty decent it’s definitely above average then one of the usual restaurants in the area so that’s nice. I mean it’s great place and seemingly great family I don’t really know where they could improve on.
