I wanted to share some honest feedback about my recent visit to Caputo’s Pizzeria in Saratoga Springs. The staff was fine, but unfortunately the food didn’t meet expectations. The pizza was served cold and lacked the flavor I was hoping for.
I also ordered the tiramisu, and while it tasted okay, I was surprised by the portion size for the price. It was $10 for a very small piece (photo included), which didn’t feel like a good value.
I’m not trying to be negative — I just think there’s room for improvement, especially when it comes to food temperature and overall value.

Walking in you are immediately impressed with the food art displayed. Instantaneous mouth watering sight to see. Small sign to wait for seating but greeted and welcomed with smiles all around. Wonderful staff. All kind and attentive while you dine. Clean and calm space for a nice lunch or dinner out. Food was just as amazing as the staff. 10 out of 5 stars.

Pizza is awesome
It’s definitely expensive but for once the cost is weighted with the quality. Delicious

Stopped in for a quick bite before work. Service was good. Two large slices and a large drink for $11 was a good deal. Food tasted pretty good.

We ordered an 8 cut cheese, 8 cut marsala, and 8 cut supreme, and these are almost too beautiful to eat. Amazing pizzas! Each one was perfect, and this has been our experience each time we ordere here. DELICIOUS and picture perfect! The chicken marsala pizza is a MUST!

Very disappointed in our pizza! The crust was sooo tough I found myself googling ‘what makes pizza crust tough?!’
Last week we tried chicken parm meals. Not horrible but VERY salty sauce.
With some tweaks, they could be much better.

These people make surprisingly delicious pasta that I did not expect in a strip mall. The dishes seemed a bit pricy, but the portions are huge so it’s still a good value. Chicken Parmesan was fantastic with tender, crispy cutlets. Their red sauce is flavorful and chunky as homemade sauce should be. My wife’s Fettuccine Alfredo had perfectly cooked pasta and the sauce was a good consistency with plenty of cheese. The garlic knots were a bit tough but I did get them towards the end of the night, so no fault there.
I was, however, disappointed in their desserts. The cannoli filling tasted more like runny cake icing than sweet ricotta. The tiramisu was just cake. It was not tiramisu at all, no lady fingers to be seen.
Overall I’m still very happy with this restaurant and look forward to trying more of their menu soon. Unfortunately, I’ll have to stay away from their desserts.

I was a little disappointed with the pizza. It’s not bad, but there’s something wrong with the crust. Too tough, too white.. pale. Just doesn’t look right, same with the garlic knots. And a bit bland, lacking in character. Pasta was much better, very garlic heavy, if you’re into that, it’s great.

This used to be our favorite pizza spot in saratoga
Placed delivery order for an event.
Half of pizzas were black from being burnt on the bottom. Half our order was forgotten, then delivered late, wrong, and ice cold.
When I called and then stopped in to bring the problems to their supervisors attention, I was told repeatedly – “there’s nothing we can do, it’s not our problem” with a poor additude.
There wasn’t active listening from them to realize i didn’t expect a full refund, but some kind of compensation or even simply an apology with accountability for their mistakes.
This apparently was relayed down from the owner.

Overpriced, 4%,charge is ridiculous to charge a customer using a debit card! already paying higher than usual pizzeria prices. I had a dinner of spaghetti and broccoli rabe, they were charging me $27, what they charge for the dish with sausage in it. I thought that was high, and said something, they took $4 off. No bread was served with the dinner, which is included. My husband ordered a calzone with sausage, the crust was so hard he couldn’t even bite into it! I ordered a pasta fassouli soup to go, it was a small pint for $10, I can make a whole pot for $10. Food is always good, they do have a variety of slices, but just think the card charge isn’t right, since prices are high enough!
