I love they have gluten free fish which were the bomb. Crispy, flavorful and good portion. Their fries were very crispy and seasoned. Cole slaw very fresh and bright. The clam chowder is gluten free as well so bonus points with lots of clams it was just slightly salty. Overall great experience and I would come back. I ordered the fish, oysters, and had the clam chowder as well. The fish was fresh and flavorful. The oysters had crispy, flavorful batter. The clam chowder was delicious, my toddler, who is super picky, had two bowls! The portion sizes were also VERY generous. Plenty of food for me and my family of four.

If you’re an Oregonian you’ve been to the coast and eaten fresh shellfish and more, so you understand the expectation of fresh delicious fish. Captain Galleys has perfected seafood comfort. A must try is their clam chowder. Fish and fresh chips are spectacular and always served with a lemon wedge *chefs kiss* . Their staff are always friendly and eager to serve you. Definitely worth returning especially with their great prices.

Best place for great fried seafood and clam chowder in Gresham! I’ve been going since not long after they opened, and the food has been amazing every time. My go-to is the clam strips basket with the homemade potato chips, but their fish & chips and fish tacos are also delicious! Staff has always been super friendly and happy to help. The cod was awesome!! Crispy, yet flaky and juicy. I enjoyed it by itself and in their “spicy” taco. I loved the tacos, it’ll be my go to from now on. The Tortilla was just crispy enough and the Pico de gallo was delicious. I air quoted spicy cause it’s not. I’m not a huge spicy person but this could’ve used a little more heat but honestly it was still delicious. This has become a local favorite for me. The dining area gets a little hot and stuffy. I’ve been passing this place by for years and I’m SO happy I finally tried it.

Delish! We ordered the Captains plate, a small fish plate, oyster plate and clam chowder. Clam chowder was plentiful with clams and so flavorful. The seafood plates were also good as was the sauces that came with them. The fish needed more salt/seasoning for my liking. Prices were very reasonable. The family and I enjoyed overall and will more than likely be back!

Excellent clam chowder! We Love the fish tacos, fresh fish, well seasoned, and fried crispy. It’s definitely worth a 30-60 minute drive.

This place is delicious! Everything on the menu has been so good: the chowder, fish&chips, fried calamari, and I can’t say a thing bad about their hot chips! I could order a full container of just those! Every time I text them my order and pick up time, food has been ready to eat fresh. Highly recommend this gem!

I absolutely love this place the fish was so perfectly breaded, the clam chowder had more clams in it the i have had at the coast and the tartar sauce was divine. I tried the sour dour roll very yummy warmed up dipped it in my clam chowder . Over a great place to get your money’s worth and not pay an arm and a leg for fish.
