While in downtown Clearwater for a music festival, I noticed Captain’s Cigar Lounge was open with a sign for wine, beer, and cigars. It was their soft opening. I had two great glasses of wine, learned about their concept including the dueling piano bar next door coming soon. The atmosphere was comfortable for having a drink or enjoying a cigar including seating outside in the front. The wine list was a good mix and some often overlooked wines, and they have a great selection of beer, cider, and seltzer. They have a Grand opening coming up soon, and I expect they will draw a crowd. This is a great addition to downtown Clearwater.

Classy Cigar Lounge, met and spoke with the owner – he’s a Genuine and Knowledgeable Guy. Been a couple times and the bartender was very friendly and efficient. Great drink selection, Great Cigar selection, Great Vibes. will return.

I just realized the server added a 20% gratuity for me to go in and pick up 3 cigars and bring them to her and leave. Absolutely absurd. I can understand if I was there hanging out but that was not the case. Anyway, I wouldn’t go there again.
