This is what I call Great BBQ. it makes me feel like im Texas. The brisket is melt in your mouth. Everything on the menu is great and the smoke wings are top notch. this has to be the best Texas style BBQ in Miami. this is a must go to!! Burnt ends, ribs, and fries were delicious. Fries were freshly fried but just a little too salty. Next time I’ll just say easy seasoning. Service was great. Met the owner Captain Chris. He provided great service. He didn’t have any brisket but he gave us some complimentary chicharrones and they were super warm and fresh in which they were nicely paired with their homemade lemonade. Delicious snack for our drive back home to Sunrise. Definitely coming back. Thank you.

Worker has attitudes, worker is also a liar , I was told they didn’t have bake beans they said was seasonal & bake beans sold year round , Mac and cheese just melted cheese on noodles , worker said they didn’t have no brisket but tends put brisket on the fries , just keep LYING ! The pulled pork didn’t have any flavor , only flavor was the barbecue sauce . Do not waste your money here . But the vibe around is amazing, perfect area terrible food .

Hands down the best BBQ in Miami!! The brisket melts in your mouth, the pork belly is to die for, and the smoked brisket burger is easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The beans are out of this world, and Captain Chris and his team are super friendly and knowledgeable.

Captains Bbq is a 10/10! We got the smoked chicken wings, ribs and coleslaw and everything was delish! The meat was falling right off the bones! The seasoning and flavor were perfection. Even the coleslaw was great and I’m usually really picky about coleslaw! The staff was super friendly, service was fast, food was hot! The location is great even if you bring the kids, we played cornhole for a while! The atmosphere and experience couldn’t be beat! If you’re looking for great bbq in the wynwood area, I hands down recommend captains bbq! You won’t be disappointed!

Service could be better. Walked up and was initially ignored by the 3 people working despite them doing nothing as we were the only customers standing there looking directly at them.
I had the brisket empanada which was pretty good but the fries were excessively salty and the lemonade tasted like tap water with a lemon squeezed into it.
The atmosphere was lively and a good vibe with music playing and people dancing enjoying themselves. But this is probably because the business is located inside the marketplace.

We hired Captain’s BBQ to cater our recent house party of over 50 people. Huge success! The brisket was smoked perfectly, coming out tender, juicy, and flavorful bark. The chicken wings? Those things flew (pun intended)– my guests couldn’t get enough of them! The pulled pork was absolutely divine, melting like butter in a hot pan. The Mac-n-cheese was amazing, smooth as silk, and smoky goodness, and the honey cornbread was the perfect accompaniment.
I’m looking forward to enjoying the leftovers for the next couple of days and for our next big party, at which Captain Chris’ excellence will once again be on full display.

I can honestly says it’s some of the best BBQ I’ve had in a while. I’m very picky with food especially BBQ, but their brisket is amazing. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good BBQ. The ambience was awesome as well.
