This place has completely gone to the dogs. I went here for my birthday for about 16 years straight as a kid, having revisited yesterday I now see why we stopped.
The service was absolutely brutal. The attitude of our server was entirely shocking. Rude, unhelpful and no care given at all. Was annoyed we weren’t ready to order 5 mins after the start of our booking, then couldnt get his attention and when he finally came over gave us some cheeky ‘oh youre finally ready, great I’ll take your order before the kitchen closes’ (at 19:35 or so..). The menu no longer describing what is on about 6 burgers is a joke, the server clearly did not want to explain each one so why not just list on the menu then?
Food is over priced, nearly 20 quid for nachos where the salsa takes up half the plate. Food was as lazy as the service with an overcooked egg on the burger and cheese not even melted on a philly cheese steak.
Won’t be back.

absolutely appalling food, chicken was so rubbery and hard similar to eating cardboard!! mind you they charged us extra for food which we did not order coke glass was shocking, filthy too. I would call some food inspectors to this place ASAP #feelingdisgusted. Don’t be fooled by its superhero aesthetic, no superhero can save this awful food. Chips were disgracefully cooked.

The man at the bar was so informative and helpful with the rest of the waiting staff being soooo warm and friendly despite them being busy. Ireland is such a nice country though this place is a bit on the pricier side…. will be back again before we go home but only for the bar service hahaha

Don’t let the nostalgia of you childhood trick you, this place is terrible. Food arrived literally 2 minutes after ordering, clearly already prepared and not cooked to order. Food was terrible, chips re heated in old oil, burgers dry and no flavour, enchiladas were absent of any flavour also and ingredients from a packet. Staff were ok and service was fine but had to ask several times for the bill. Don’t waste your time going here, we only went because we thought if would be a nice place to bring the kids. Felt ripped off paying nearly €100 for bad quality food. A major disappointment

Honestly, this was a really bad experience. We got seated right away, but then just sat there for like 10 minutes with no menus and no one even looking our way. We ended up having to get up and ask for menus ourselves.
Even after that, no one came over, so we had to go up *again* just to get our order taken. When the chicken wings finally came out, they were terrible — barely any meat on them, super overcooked, and the bones were literally black.
Overall just awful service and awful food. Definitely not going back.

Captain Americas used to be great, this rebrand is a pale imitation, every item is more expensive than the Blanchardstown equivalent. Service was so inattentive, uninterested and slow, needed to wave to get their attention. Spent 26euro on a Steak sandwich that as you can see from the image attached, was so small you almost needed a microscope to find the beef.

Lovely staff. Our waitress Eimear was so nice, as was the manager and the other staff. Extensive menu. Great food and drink deals with a student card. €5 vodka splash. Nice ambience. Karaoke on Wednesday if you’re into that. Looking forward to return.

The food is delicious, but the service is very slow (considering we were the first guests in the restaurant). Interestingly, the manager seemed more concerned with showing something to the waiter on the phone every two minutes!

I had not been here in a long long time. Not since the good old days. My expectations were low. Thankfully I was pleasantly surprised. We arrived at 130pm on a Saturday with 9 kids age 11 to celebrate a birthday. The staff could not have been more genuine and lovely including the manager. You can tell they are a tight unit and really enjoy working together. The orders were taken promptly by the friendly Alex who made jokes with the kids as he went. The food arrived quickly and it was very good. All the kids loved it. I enjoyed my burger and fries, good quality meat and fresh salads on the bun. There was also a lovely lady who paints faces and does balloon art for the patrons. We didn’t expect that but it made the birthday for us. What a wonderful treasure she is indeed. Also, the whole team including the manager sang happy birthday to our daughter!! All in all, far far exceeded my tempered expectations. The place is clean and clearly well run by a team who enjoy their jobs. They were all so nice. That really does make such a difference to a restaurant experience. The food was good but the experience was even better. Thanks Alex and Leona and team. We will visit again for sure. Great job guys!!!
