Overall good experience! Enjoyed our salmon, crab cake, peel and eat shrimp, oysters and sides including hush puppies and green beans. Minor issues. No option for a side salad or soup with platters. Ordered a beer and it was not thoroughly chilled and it came with a plastic cup to pour the beer in but it didn’t even fit the whole beer. Did not like using disposable cutlery and styrofoam plates. Was told it was a half hour wait and we couldn’t get a drink at the bar and was recommended a nearby bar but then was called back less than fifteen minutes later. Enjoyed the orange crush I got at the nearby bar while waiting for a seat more than the one at Captain Zack’s. Waitress was friendly, attentive, patient, and offered good recommendations.

We had a great experience on our camping trip to Yogi bear campground. We came here for dinner around 6 & waited for approx 30 minutes for our table. Server was great & efficient. I didn’t like the blood orange crush..she brought me a different drink of choice which was way better but charged me for both drinks. No worries.
Everyone’s food was amazing & there’s so much food it’s crazy! The price is perfect & no complaints at all. We will be back this winter!

Came here for dinner after going to Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge. I had read ahead of time that the waits can be long here, so I was surprised that we got in in 15 minutes. We ate at the bar, which isn’t my first choice of seating, but thankfully this wasn’t a rowdy or raunchy bar.

I had seen pictures of the Coastal Bloody Mary and really wanted to try it. So I did, and it is absolutely massive, and almost a meal itself! The seafood garnishes were good, but the Bloody Mary itself could’ve been better. However, I got to keep the glass!

For our entree we got the seafood boats. Those were pretty good, basically seafood potato skins. And for our entree we both split the seafood platter. Wow, platter is right, it’s huge! We couldn’t even finish it! Not the best fried seafood I’ve had, but still good. The batter could’ve used a bit more flavor.

Came for munch while visiting in the area. It was above our expectations after having a less than positive dinner the night before at a different highly rated restaurant nearby. Had the cream of crab soup which was a little thick but great flavor and tons of crab. I ordered the appetizer clam and oyster basket and could only eat half. It was really delicious with barely there cornmeal coating and the oysters were succulent and salty as described. My husband ordered the chicken tacos and couldn’t finish. Chicken was moist and abundant
We loved it so much we want to come back for dinner now. Highly recommend.

This has long been a wonderful place to get fresh seafood, with large portions, at a reasonable price. Now they have this beautiful enclosed dining area. Fantastic! We shall return soon.

We’ve been searching for 6 years to find a Bloody Mary that could beat our top rating of bloody mary’s from Palmer, Alaska… we just found the place! The service was very friendly food was phenomenal, and the value was very reasonable.

It’s our anniversary vacation and we were told this was a good place to eat. Talk about an underrated statement—this is an EXCELLENT place to eat. You will not go home hungry! Our server, Lisa, was fantastic and helpful. The blackened flounder tacos, fried flounder, onion rings, sweet potato fries sides, and hush puppies tasted incredible! Sides were quite large, enough to share. I ordered the gumbo, so flavorful. We have enough leftover to share for dinner! 10/10 will eat here again!

Stopped here for breakie while on a weekend getaway. Wife ordered a breakfast bowl and I ordered the saltwater cowboy. 2 pancakes stacked around 4 strips of bacon, 2 eggs and cheese. Both tasted good and cooked to order. Waiter was on point making rounds for more coffee and top off drinks.

Everything was OK, was a little pricey for prewrapped plastic cutlery and plastic baskets. The food was good and our server was nice and attentive. A $75 lunch for two..
