Had lunch around 1 pm on Wednesday. Ordered Arnold Palmer and Shrimp Po’Boy with chips. My friend grilled shrimp with grits. It’s my first time since I am visiting friends here. The shrimp (battered and deep fried) tasted so fresh and tasted good. The chips were fresh out of the flyer so it was crisp!! It was easy to find a parking spot, and I would definitely return to try other dishes!

Wife and I found this place while staying in HH. Claim chowder was excellent. Our meal and service were very good. Casual low keyed bar/resturant.

Went here for dinner and sat at the bar since it was humid outside and there was a good wait for table service inside. I’m glad we did because the bartender Shelby was great. She was everything you’d expect as a bartender. Knowledgeable about the menu, gave us recommendations of local places to wander to, interacted with us on a personal level. We got the calamari which was great – batter was seasoned well and their ranch is 10/10. We also got the Kickin Camarones. Perfectly fried shrimp topped with a sweet & spicy sauce. We both got the Seafoid Jasmine for our dinner. She got the scallops, I got the shrimp. They were swimming in a bowl of melted Parmesan, butter, garlic. Shrimp were just ok – the scallops on the other hand were great. These seasonal veggies on the side were the star of the show. Buttery, garlicky and seasoned well. After our meal we checked out the upstairs area which is a rooftop bar (half covered half uncovered) where there was live music. My only thing about the place is it’s a bit small and gets crowded easily. Would definitely return just on the strength of our interaction with the bartender.

The fried calamari was one of the best I’ve had, and I’ve been to Italy & Greece recently. We ordered 2 chef salads, one with blackened trigger fish & one with fried shrimps. Both were huge portions. Needless to say we packed home the leftovers. The raw oysters were fresh. Good place to grab some seafood in Bluffton. Located among other restaurants and boutique shops. Free parking on streets.

The food was just ok. The BBQ shrimp (over grits) and the salmon bites were fantastic. The oysters (fried and on the half shell) were just meh. The kids shrimp was fine, but nothing special. The grilled cheese was good. The tea wasn’t amazing, but not terrible. The hush puppies were VERY dry… The red pepper seemed like a good idea, but that paired with honey butter didn’t mix. Plus the dryness just made these a big no for us. Our server was amazing and absolutely the best part of our visit. Walking to our car made us all very glad we weren’t outside because whoever did the “music” tonight was not very good.

We LOVE this place. It’s nice enough for those special occasions as well as the “Hey let’s go have a drink” moments. The staff is always helpful and do their best to make sure your visit is top notch.
Why spend way more $$ in Old Town for less service and way less fun??? Come here and get EVERYTHING rolled into one!
Did I mention the baskets are awesome?
I highly recommend you try this place!

Great lunch experience. Had grouper Ruben and wife had blackened cod sandwich. Fries were crispy as advertised.
Attentive service throughout lunch.
Will be back again during our stay in Hilton Head.

We came for lunch on a Monday. We really enjoyed the fried shrimp basket and the hush puppies were delicious. Chris was our server and he did an amazing job. He was covering the bar and most of the tables and still took great care of us. We would definitely come back!

We came here with a big group. They handled as well. The server was good. She was always checking in on us, so that’s the good element.
So why only three stars?
Although the food was good, it felt like there was a bit of a mixup in the bar, or perhaps the bartender was overwhelmed? We ordered two different drinks, and they tasted absolutely the same, and then I ordered a third drink, that was a completely different drink, and it tasted exactly like my first drink. They were all just sort of rummy with fruit juice.
Also, the porch was very very very hot. They had fans going, and my back was to one, but everybody else was really sweating. Do I recognize that this is the south? Yes. I grew up spending summers near Charleston, so I know about heat. However, they really could’ve used a lot more fans on the porch area. It was so hot it was difficult to enjoy the meals.
On to the food. It was good. But based on all these glowing reviews, it was a little underwhelming. It certainly was good food, but it wasn’t fantastic. Although they had a good menu with a large selection, for the folks who don’t like seafood in the group.
Bottom line: large menu, attentive service, drinks were not great, and it was really darn hot on the porch!

This is a small cozy restaurant with very well trained staff. The food is great. Our meal came out in a timely manner and was hot. Even though they were busy at the time. For the home run they had Pepsi for a beverage choice. That is hard to find these days . It was my first time there and I plan on a return visit
