This was the last day of my Salem trip and we were looking for comfort food. This was totally it! I heard Massachusetts was famous for their roast beef, and this was literally the best one I have ever had. It was delicious!!!! Also tried the burger, onion rings, and pizza. So fresh, and I can’t stress enough delicious! This is a cute little local spot, with also friendly beautiful amazing staff, thank you! This added to my amazing experience, I will dream about that sandwich and I will be back! Thank you! 10 stars!

These guys have been lifesavers to several of the bus drivers on the commuter rail replacement shuttles. Many of us are from out of state and those of us on the early morning shift are out of our hotel before any breakfast is available. Having a place we can grab hot food with friendly service makes our stomachs happy. Love the onion rings and the gyro ain’t bad either. The calzone I got yesterday wasn’t cheap BUT it’s going to be my dinner for a total of three nights, it was so big and thick and still tastes good straight from the fridge (I’d rather have cold pizza than reheat it in a microwave, which is all we have in our rooms)

My husband and I love Captain’s! Excellent food ( chicken kabob salad w house dressing) , large portions & affordable. Staff are beyond friendly. It is our go to place for take out. They deliver ( cash only). So worth trying!!!!

Alway’s our go-to place as a family the past 20+ year’s. Alway’s amazing food, service, prices and their house dressing is amazing. We are all family and friends. It’s funny when call they can all call us by our first name on called ID. Best of the best.

I haven’t been to Captains in years due to living out of the area. But let me tell you, nothing has changed from amazing shop! Same great menu and reasonable prices! OH MY GOD. We just got our half vegetarian/half peppers and onion and I took 2 bites and had to write a super duper review! Fast delivery, personable and funny call-in for delivery, and I want to have this eggplant, and this entire pizza EVERY DAY! Great job! You won a new and to be continued client for sure!!

We ordered two chicken kebab salads and I must say for all the raves on this site they were horrible. Probably some of the worst salads I’ve ever had living on the North Shore lettuce and chicken. Highly don’t recommend this place needs some work as to what a real chicken kebab salad is with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, carrots, cucumbers.
