Hot dogs were unique, and the fried hot dogs tasted good. We tried 2 different hot dogs and the sweet potato fries. The fries were just basic sweet potato fries, but the hot dogs were good. The Cole slaw wasn’t the coleslaw I was expecting, and the sweet chili on the Mike day wasn’t chili it’s a sauce. I thought it was like a chili dog. ♂️ still tasted good. A lot of locals and workers from the area were going here, so it’s a good spot for a quick bite.

One of my coworkers referred me to thus place after talking about hot dogs. Was very curious about trying this place and was not disappointed at all with their unique selection of hot dogs.
Had the Monsoor, fried dog with Mac & Cheese and Buffalo sauce and a Boot Camp, fried dog with Chilli, bacon, and cheese. Very tasty, perfect summertime lunch, and will definitely come back again trying other flavorful hot dogs on their menu

Captain Paul’s Firehouse Dogs is just awesome. Paul and Janice the owners are truly amazing as they make every customer that comes into Captain Paul’s feel like they are part of their family. The food is always at its best and having been in here more than I can count it would be hard for me to say what’s my favorite. I love trying something different every time I go. They are truly a landmark in Lawrence if you haven’t been don’t walk run and try them out, you won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend Captain Paul’s!

Starting our work day at 6:30AM, it is a testament to how much we love this restaurant because we talked about these hot dogs all morning until we grabbed lunch at noon. Awesome and wide variety of unique hot dog combinations. I’m a big fan of the Chris Kyle as well as the FBI and Coastguard Fries. One of my favorite places to eat in NJ and the best hot dogs in the area.

Was really pleased to find these guys have a veggie hot dog available! Large menu of assorted hot dogs, sandwiches, snacks and ice cream. Shoestring fries were hot, crispy and perfectly done. Owner and staff were friendly and food was served quickly. As the Terminator is famous for saying.. “I’ll be back”..

Paul and Janice are great. Every time you walk in you are treated like family. After years of fire service, Captain Paul still finds ways to give back to the community. The food is the best around, it’s hard to come up with a favorite. You just have to try something different every time you go. They are always coming up with new menu items. If you have room after your meal, you have to try the ice cream. Paul thank you for your service and patriotism.

This hot dog shop is easy enough to find with a menu that is varied & food that is really good. The theme of it tied into military & furst responders is also a nice touch as well

Only one reason to go here, the hot dogs are the best around. With a friendly staff that makes you feel like family you’ll find yourself wanting to come back again and again. The hours are specific so make sure to get there before they close & come prepared to fall in love with how a hot dog should be.

This is a hidden gem in Lawrenceville; great casual place for hot dogs, sandwiches and ice cream! I love all the creative and unique combos with hot dog and sandwich toppings. I have not tried the ice cream yet but definitely want to in the future. There’s military and firefighter decor and memoriabila and a beautiful outdoor displays of flags and patriotic wooden cutouts, including The Statue of Liberty) near picnic tables. It was great to sit outside and enjoy a delicious hot dog topped with baked beans and potato salad. Theres a beautiful outdoor patio with wooden cutouts of very realistically painted dogs( that each have a name) and lots of people were enjoying the delicious food, beautiful weather and.relaxing atmosphere. What a spectacular find; I will definitely be coming back and I would highly recommend a visit here!
