First vacation meal last on last week’s vacation at the beach. A basket of piping hot hushpuppies were delivered to our table almost immediately. We ordered a couple of beers while we studied the menu. We each ordered a fried platter with coleslaw and a baked potato (I got the combo with oysters, shrimp, and flounder; partner ordered shrimp only). Food was quite tasty and reasonable for beach prices. Server was friendly, but seemed to disappear for long periods of time. Would definitely visit again!

The negative reviews we read almost kept us from trying this place. So glad it was too long of a wait next door.. this place is amazing! Not fancy but great, fresh seafood (scallops and oysters for sure and sometimes the shrimp, accordingto our waiter) right from the waters behind this restaurant. Don’t usually order fried seafood but the Calabash style was delicious on this fresh seafood! We both got seafood platters and they were so huge we both had left overs! They came with cole slaw(best I’ve ever eaten), hushpuppies and a side too! Wonderful service..Wilson is the best! Be sure to walk out on the pier behind the restaurant to check out the shrimp boats. We ate outside and it was perfect with huge fans blowing to keep you cool..not to mention the awesome views!

First visit and we were impressed. We had fried flounder and fried shrimp because we are southern and that’s what we do. It was great. We sat outside and and enjoyed the awesome scenery. I recommend you come here and get yourself some seafood.

I was with my family (party of 6) and I do not eat seafood, it looked amazing and they all loved their choices. I had the lemon chicken. Unfortunately it was very dry and had no flavor. I asked for lemon and squeezed it on the chicken. I also used my sour cream from my baked potato to add some moisturizer to it because it was so dry. So that is why I gave 4 stars.
