Amazing food, good service, good prices. The owners were very nice and welcoming. This will be our new favorite seafood restaurant! I liked also that they had outside seating. It’s not fancy but it works. They also have plenty of booths for large parties.

Just tried Captain Mas for the first time and were delighted. Husband ordered the Rock Fish and I ordered the “create your own” with Lobster Tail and Scallops. Beautifully plated, delicious, good and polite service, Yacht Rock music, campy decor, and clean reataurant. We will gladly return again.

Idk what better word I can use but WOW!!! My boyfriend picked another seafood place near where we live and he found captain mas. Great customer service from our waiter Leo. And a great environment for kids and adults. The food was phenomenal!!! We had the clam chowder soup and the Maryland crab soup and popcorn shrimp before we had our combination boil for two. And the alcohol was on point from Leo! This family own places is amazing and you will get your moneys worth here for the amount of food they give you. We had to take out boil for two home because we were so full!! but overall we will definitely come back and try the all you can eat crabs! Thanks you Leo and team for a great experience!!!

Incredible experience here recently.

The steamed shrimp appetizer had HUGE fresh shrimp that just came out of the steamer and homemade cocktail sauce. The stuffed salmon and stuffed shrimp were beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The bartender was our waitress and she did an incredible job and was very attentive. Prices were reasonable for seafood and the portion sizes offered. The ambiance is also pretty nice in here!

We ordered the, crab soup, seafood and crab boil for 2 and separate dish of a 1LB. alaskan crab with corn and fries. The boil is actually cooked in a cream, butter garlic sauce which was superb. I had the alaskan crab with butter, was very good , very fresh. Cab soup was a tomato based little spicy thick broth, delicious. Service was excellent even though they dont have any waiters, we were served by the owner. Great place, great ambience, beautiful decorations and 80’s music. It was worth the drive. Would go back to support local owners with a great restaurant and great menu.

Had a taste for crabs and wanted to go somewhere besides the usual digs. Venue was okay, had a manufactured nautical, seafaring feel. They offer the all-you-can-eat crabs option at a good price. The snow crab legs were also reasonably priced. They are served hot and fresh with butter and Old Bay and a big old bucket to discard the shells. The server was attentive and a lot of fun. They even had Crystal Hot Sauce.

First time eating at Capt. Mas. I had the convenience of making reservations thru Yelp. The process was very easy. Received a welcoming greeting by the Host when we arrived. Very entertaining environment, it wasn’t crowded and plenty of room for social distancing. The staff were all wearing mask. Restaurant / bathrooms were clean. The menu was very impressive and lots of choices for those who love seafood. Yes, they have surf & turf (steak & seafood). The prices were market price, (within-reason). The food was delicious and plentiful! We had a few bad crabs which is normal. However, the Host replaced everything that wasn’t satisfactory. The Host were ALL, pleasant, receptive and attentive! They made our dining experience very enjoyable! We will definitely be coming back. The drive from Stafford, VA and money was worth it!

It took a long time (almost an hour) to get our food. We were told it was because of a large party but the restaurant was maybe only at 30% capacity. The seafood broil that I ordered was not too tasty. The potatoes tasted old and undercooked. Everything was covered in an overpowering garlic sauce. You would think we would’ve been compensated an appetizer or gotten a slight discount for the wait but no effort was made. I won’t be coming back.
