I haven’t been to Captain K’s in a while, since I’ve been watching my caloric intake. This was a cheat day, so I decided to get the whiting meal. Big mistake! The restaurant is under new ownership and it’s no longer our great little seafood restaurant that we’ve known and loved. The whiting tasted like watered down frozen fish with no seasoning. The fries were a soggy, greasy, mess. The prices are higher and the meal was terrible. The staff were friendly and attentive. I wish I’d just gone to McDonald’s instead. If you plan on going here, just prepare yourself for a new experience. If you like the food the way it used to be, I don’t recommend this business.

Flounder has no flavor, fries were burnt, bbq sauce was watery, tar tar sauce taste like ranch and hush puppies were stuck together and burnt… better off making it at home don’t waste you’re money guys…

The food smelled so good but taste was decent. Shrimp were okay fries were okay. Chicken breast strips taste like cafeteria chicken that I had in high school.. processed I don’t know. I would pick a different restaurant of I had a choice to go back.

By far the nastiest food I’ve ever had in my life. The fish and fries were mushy. The fries were filled with grease. Grease was literally pooled on the paper they put in the bottom of the container. I wouldn’t have fed that food to a stray dog.

Under new management, tried to give it benefit of the doubt but food wasn’t seasoned properly, fish wasn’t seasoned nor fried properly. Chicken wasn’t breaded nor seasoned. It’s unfortunate because we have been going to Captain Ks for over 10 years.

Been going there for many years, it’s not own by the same people. I ordered a dozen of crabs for $27 and just about the whole bag was over cooked, I was very upset. 1 or 2 yes but just about all of them, SMH. NEVER AGAIN

Ordered Cod and Flounder combo….NEVVVAAAA again!!!!! Greasy…very greasy and tasteless! Even the cole slaw is tasteless! Only went because A Bite of Main was closed! Never again! Horrible!

So after a long days work I come to I thought . order an i reply I am awaiting my lady she looked at me strange as if she didnt comprehend so I say I am waiting my my other guest before i order. Again she looks at me strange again and moments later the man comes in the back comes an ask what do I need an i replied I am waiting on my friend to come order with.
