I have been coming here for many years and I come at least twice once or twice every week to get crabs. This is the second time that I have gotten overcooked crabs from this particular spot. When I called and informed them, they told me to bring them back and I will get a refund. The first time I was cool with a refund because I had ordered a pound of shrimp and it was late so I was willing to just deal with that. This time I told them that I did not want a refund. I simply wanted another half a dozen remade. The store manager refused to remake another half a dozen, and simply said that he would give me a refund. He explained that the crabs might just be bad and they all came out of the same batch. I explained that it was not the crabs being bad but the meat inside being mushy.He stated that all of the crabs are cooked for the same time 18 minutes. But I specifically ordered 30 minutes out, and when I had came, my crabs were still on the stove covered, which means that even after The 18 minutes and him turning off the stove, they were still steaming in the heat. I tried to explain this to him, but he refused to listen and simply told me to take my money back and just go to another crab place. I asked him several times to call the owner of the facility and he refuse saying he would not.
I even made a point of explaining to him that it was not his fault, but probably an oversight on his part. Not thinking that, even though he turned off the heat that they might still be cooking because the top was on the pot.

I usually just get bone fish, crabs, and shrimp from here and I’ve enjoyed my meal each time. No complaints.

I really had a taste for a whiting fish sandwich today I stopped here since I was in the area and unfortunately it was not cooked hard enough and had a slight fishy smell to it oh and they gave me white bread, so what’s the lesson here, ask for what you want and no guarantee you won’t be disappointed but it’s better than assuming they’ll get it right on their own

The crabs were bland i have never had crabs in md that were steamed without seasoning and vinegar or beer. They actually sprinkled a tablespoon of rock salt/seasoning on top of them after bagging up the crabs! Smh giving our state a bad name!

The food was not good, we actually threw most of it away. The crab balls tasted like rotten fish, the crab sticks were burnt, and my husband’s fried fish had bones hidden in it. The fries were okay (not hot, but tasted fine). Service was good but not good enough that I would go back.

I purchased 2 dozen medium blue crabs, 4 clusters of crab legs, and an order of fried shrimp. Everything was great!! The crabs were heavy and delicious. I highly recommend this place. The young female, the daughter of the owner, is sweet and very friendly! Makes it nice in this crazy world!!
