I recently visited caption jays and they didn’t give me my order correctly what I ordered is not what i received. To farther explain i have a picture of course they don’t mess up on the chicken because you have to count the pieces but my sides was a large should be able to feed three people but they cheated me out my fries and okra I also didn’t receive no biscuits. I’m not sure if they let the old manger go but they need him back because they cheated me out of my money from feeding my babies it’s hard out here

I went through the drive through on 5/21/2025 at 2:04pm. According to my receipt I was assisted by Ahmad. He got my order wrong but that wasn’t worth a negative review as things happen. I was forced to leave a review when I got home to give my husband his food and when he picked up his dinner roll he noticed the whole bottom was covered in mold. When I called the store, the manager (I didn’t get his name) just apologized and said he was going to check the rolls in the store. Please check your food completely if ordering from here.

I ordered 8 pieces of fish and 30 whole wings on Sunday Lions game day. The wings were super big which was alarming enough. They were also not done. There was blood at the bone. I was entertaining so I had to impervise my dinner. I called to speak with an owner or management but of course he was not avaliable. So I called the next day with my concern and the manager said that he had no control and the size of the chicken but could replace e what I had left only. I spent $70 on meal. And the best he could do without an apology was to replace any wings I had left.

Place my order at 11:40 AM at the drive-through one car in front of me already at the window hanging out. I waited until 11:57 AM to get my chicken sandwich so 17 minutes that’s half of my lunch
I love the sign at the window. No refunds will correct. Any wrong order what about me waiting almost 20 minutes for a sandwich. Terrible service caution stay away.

The Captain Jay’s on Schoenherr in Warren is always on point! The food is hot, fresh, and seasoned perfectly every time. The chicken is crispy with just the right crunch, and the fish is tender and flavorful. Portions are generous and well worth the price. The staff here is friendly, fast, and professional, making the experience smooth even when they’re busy. You can tell they take pride in keeping the place clean and serving quality food. This is hands-down one of the best Captain Jay’s locations in the area! We had an Awesome Sunday family dinner.

(7-30-25) I stopped here after work I ordered 2 cod, mac n cheese and a medium fry. (MY FIRST TIME HERE EVER)
I was told it would be 10min. I WAITED 20! (Drive through window)
Finally after receiving the food I placed on passenger seat started driving and the bag of food had a awful pungent smell.
I can’t stress how awful. When I got home
I opened the food $4 for a med fry and I got maybe 10 fries! It wasn’t even full.
The mac and cheese was awful no taste what so ever and the noodles were mushy and soggy.
Overcooked? I do not know!?
And the cod! I definitely say it was rotten , expired ? I took a little bite to try it the most awful taste and left a nasty after taste. Oooo and the smell!
This was my first time definitely my last time!. I literally just threw $17 and some change in the trash! Very dissatisfied and even more disappointed that I thought I was picking up dinner, just to throw it away and run out and spend more money to grab a pizza.
This food deserves 0 stars. The food is gross absolutely

I definitely know they served me rotten fish. I am definitely furthering this! Servicing people with rotten moldy food . This place is a health hazard 100% if I end up sick I will be contacting my attorney.
