The food and service were both lovely! We enjoyed the krab Rangoons and gyoza for apps which were incredible. I ordered tom yum soup and vegetable rolls which had amazing flavor and presentation. My mom enjoyed the pad Thai but wished it tasted a bit more like peanuts. Overall we were very happy with our first experience at Captain Hooks & would highly recommend!

Nice place with excellent sushi. Sashimi appetizer is a must get for sushi lovers … so fresh and tasty! My wife and I tried several special rolls that were delightful. The thai we tried was also very good, though nothing too complex with chicken fried rice.
The place is average size, but it can fit a few parties of 10ish pretty well. It’s got a nice atmosphere for a date night or to hang with friends.
It has become our favorite sushi spot in the Fort Myers / Cape Coral area.

Angie did an excellent job of explaining the menu. there were basically three types of foods here, pho, sushi and Thai. I had sweet and sour seafood with rice and my better half had pad pan ew. and Angie was constantly checking on us and refilling Our drinks. Parking was easy. I am a handicapped and it was not a struggle to get in. The booths were a perfect fit. The atmosphere was relaxing. We will be back.

If you’re in Cape Coral and craving sushi, do yourself a favor and stop at Captain Hook’s! The sushi was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. And the rolls? HUGE. Like meal-for-two huge. We were honestly blown away by the portion sizes and the quality.
Great service, great food, and an awesome local spot we’ll definitely return to!

Had an amazing dinner here. Also had the krab rangoons for an appetizer which were perfect and we got the banana tempura for dessert and it was AMAZING. Service was good, too! Definitely recommend.

Captain Hook’s restaurant was great. Casey took care of us and was helpful in getting our birthday cake setup. I live outside the area, but would go back to them if I came back down. I also wish to add the staff in general had great attitudes. Thanks again, Casey, for the help with the birthday cake and thanks to the staff for the happy birthday song! It was appreciated.

Our food was remarkable. Two of us shared the Tuna Tataki and Chicken Pad Thai. We never had the tuna dish before and will definitely have it again. A light and refreshing appetizer. They provide thai pepper flakes and pepper oil to season your Pad Thai to your level of heat.

Prebattered frozen calamari. One star is for our server alone who was very sweet. I’ve had the sushi previously and sushi is that artificial colored frozen fish from low quality vendors. This place is a sushi restaurant built for people who don’t know what real sushi is. Won’t be returning again, for real this time.

The best sushi and staff! They are always accommodating and Angie is extremely experienced if anyone has allergies. Every time we go they make my special roll and the tuna crisps are a must. Thank you Captain Hook, see you soon.

Ordered 2x Phos, costing $36.00 and was not given a bowl to eat the dish with. This is highly unacceptable in the restaurant business for to-fo orders. I’ve received better service in 3rd world countries. Do not patronize this overpriced and underwhelming establishment that doesn’t provide a .10 cent plastic bowl to eat your meal in.
