I have not had a cheesesteak sub from Captain Harvey’s in over 30 years and it was just delicious as it was years ago. The cook was quick in making the sub and it was absolutely tasty!

It isn’t what it used to be at all. Gone are the days of the fresh cooked mountain of steak on the grill and onions, and now they just use super low quality steak-um and ground beef mix to make their subs. Couldn’t eat a single bite without a fork. The old subs were huge and actually stayed together. Such a disappointment that a piece of my childhood and life has gone downhill so bad. Won’t be going back ever again.

Been going there for over 20 years and I’d always get a small cup of extra steak for my dogs to have as a treat and they’ve always charged me $2.00 for it. My last trip there I ordered the same thing I have for years and suddenly it was WAY more money, like almost double! I asked how and was told I always order the Skipper, which I never have, I’ve always gotten just a regular steak sub. So that was $5.00 but the real surprise was I was charged for a whole 8″ sub rather than the $2.00 of extra steak for my pups!
I hope that $15.00 you got was worth it cause it cost you a regular customer of over 20 years!
