We had a great experience with the buffet for dinner! Everyone was welcoming to us. The laid back vibes here with all of the sports on tv and music was really nice. This place was definitely amazing if you love seafood crab legs were super fresh and always stocked they had Oysters Rockefeller which were amazing roll oysters so many different varieties of seafood along with a lot of great desserts me and my girlfriend absolutely love this place. We have never been to a seafood place that was this nice and fancy. I don’t remember our servers names but I know it was two guys that were brothers and they did a very good job

Came in for dinner with a party of 4. Got to a table immediately and we started our buffet. Food was pretty good for the most part, other than the crab legs and salmon. Most of the food on the dryer side of things. After eating a few plates, the desert was waiting for me. But be careful of the baklava. It’s hard when you chew it and there is a clove in every slice. So if you don’t like a whole clove, take it out. The service was great with our requests done very quickly. Most of the fried food was tender, but not seasoned enough. Crab legs were mildly enjoyable due to them being dry but good tasting. The cheddar bay biscuits were very moist and airy, just a bit more cheddar would do. The crab imperial was very tasty, by far the best comfort food they have. Hush puppies were the best I’ve ever had, but the fried fish laked character and just tasted pretty mid. Fried shrimp and scallops were nicely cooked and not oversalted, but a more seasoning on any kind would do well on the shrimp and scallops. Overall, good service, a dark atmosphere in my part of the restaurant, and selection, but the food was lackluster that night. Reservations probably recommended for big groups, but not mine.

This was my first time visiting this location in a long time. If you’ve been to a Captain George’s before, you know what to expect. The food was generally good. The desserts left a lot to be desired, but I was there for the crab legs and they delivered on those.

First time here. It’s a beautiful place. Waiters/Waitress are very nice. Didn’t even have to ask for refills. They just brought them. Price was great for an all you can eat. Many foods to choose from and the desserts were great. Would recommend. Will definitely come again.

At one time Captain George’s was a much desired eating destination. Lines would be out the door for the opportunity to dine on their endless seafood buffet.
My most recent visit didn’t live up to this hype from Captain George’s glory days. While nothing tasted bad or was terrible, nothing was exceptional either. The restaurant seems to have morphed into just another all-you-can-eat place.
It’s still a pricey meal, but I no longer find the dining experience to be special or memorable. At one time, they definitely had that mojo. No more it seems. Not disappointed, so much as indifferent towards a visit to Captain George’s now.

This was my first time going to this Captain George’s. Everything was good. The waiter was nice. The atmosphere was good. The restrooms were clean. They had my favorite peanut butter cake! I will be back soon. The only thing that I didn’t like was when a waitress dropped the plates, some of the front-end people came around and just looked. That was weird. Like, don’t look! Get someone to help her!

+ : service was Great! Free lobster w buffet purchase, legs, fried oysters & scallops, and I love the CG’s (butter/hot sauce) Blend.
