At our Lawrenceburg, TN location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

The food is great here. This facility is also under new management and improvements abound. The only drawback that I have experienced is that there are long wait times every now and then. The quality of the food makes up for it though, as well as the prices. Good place to eat and relax!

Employees have gone down hill. Years ago everyone that worked there was usually so kind. But for the past year or so they’re cold and get my order wrong often. Most of the rude ones seem to be young teens. I’m 20 myself, so I’m not bashing teens. Just the ones here that are rude.
