At our Humble, TX location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Delicious food, quick service, friendly staff. Crispy batter on the outside, tender flaky juicy fish on the inside. The coleslaw hits the spot better than most fast food joints. The catfish, shrimp, chicken, and sides were all great, glad I got a sampler as part of my order. The paper signs written in Sharpie were a bit odd to see in the drive-through, but aside from that the place is nice.

Third time coming to this location. Service is always ok. But the food seems to get worse. I understand why they have a big sign in the drive through window saying No Refunds. I ordered two piece fish special and everything taste old. The fries were luke warm and the fish is dry, tough. Definitely will not go back and would advice everyone else to avoid.

Pleasing the customer doesn’t seem Important to the teenagers that work here. I paid for food that was sitting on the counter getting cold while the two teenagers behind the counter were trying to figure out an issue at the drive thru. One of them just sitting there trying to understand the words on a piece of paper in his hand. I asked them for my food and he told me to be patient. I’m not going to be patient when my food is ready and no one cares to give it to me. First thing I noticed when I walked into this restaurant is the big sign up front that said no refunds. Obviously that sign tells you that they don’t care about the quality of their food and whether you like it or not. I should have left. I was hungry so I placed an order. I’ll never go back. Long John silver’s 200 yd away.

Customer service was great but this my second time coming here and this time i said to myself I’m never coming back the fish had a weird smell and the texture of it wasn’t like fish i almost threw up when i bit it i had to throw both plates away it was so nasty im never going back again the first time it was good but this time it spoiled my appetite!

This place is sad, 2nd visit. No refunds on the register, drink machine out of order, no condiments, food came out cold and under cooked fish has pink inside still. The owner of this franchise sould be ashamed. Best advise dont come here. Only plus side are the funnel fries.

Got up a bit late on my day off. Decided to get me some Fish n Chips today. A place that I used to go to years ago opened a location minutes from my home in Humble Texas Captain D’s seafood restaurant. It didn’t hurt that they mailed me coupon for an order for $4.99. First off the place is clean and the staff is friendly. My other favorite thing is that the fish was cooked in fresh clean oil & not like other places I’ve been too that cooks everything in oil reused for months or longer. Fresh, Hot and Delicious. Highly recommended.

This is my third and final attempt to see this location perform as the one in my Hometown in Perry, Ga does. The valueand quality of the food for the cost is not great at all. The restaurant is clean. The cashier on this visit was not very attentive maybe she was nervous or new, I’m not sure. I am sure they have a high profit margin because I know, only on one occasion did I get what I feel was appropriate for the price I paid. There is plenty of parking because the lot is always empty.

Birthday reward, kept giving error message that I didn’t have enough qualifing items? The rewards says Free! I purchased lobster roll meal anyway. But, the rewards still wouldn’t work! I really feel cheated out of my rewards! The food was good and workers were nice and helpful.

The battered fish was so bland and fishy I had to spit it out. I got the chicken instead and it was very good. Not sure what the deal is with the fish but they need to sort it out. Used to be better I don’t think it has one bit of seasoning either

This was a birthday choice for another family member today, but it was a nostalgic choice for the rest of us. Restaurant was very clean, staff was very polite.
Food came out fast and was hot and tasty.
