At our Owasso, OK location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I ordered the 2 piece chicken strips and 2 piece fish . Coleslaw and green beans. The chicken strips was really small like what they would put in a kids meal the batter on my fish was not done all the way. .. and I really love Captain D’s . I have been going all my life and I’m 45 now. So not to happy about this one

Overall the whole place was very clean! I love when you pull into a place and their parking lot looks great, curb appeal is big with me! Show you care from the start! The cashier was new and was trying real hard. I believe there were only 3 employees on a Sat for lunch. The fish was hot and delicious! The okra was cold and soggy. The ff got cold within seconds. Hush puppies were hot and delicious. I will give them a second try in the future…maybe that day they’re just overwhelmed a little.

I was finally able to go eat here since they closed the lobby for the pandemic. I’ve had enough take home and delivery to last me a lifetime. Dining was open and I was able to sit down and eat. The food was great and the help was friendly. They did end up closing the inside for dine in or walk ins while I was sitting eating my lunch. They said they were understaffed and not able to allow any dine ins. I was the ONLY one sitting inside eating. I don’t know why it would be a big deal. Nevertheless they allowed me to finish eating my meal. Had I arrived later, I would not have chosen to eat there if the dining room was closed. Let customers make a choice, thanks.

The fish was great, I paid an upcharge to get fried okra and it was about 10 pieces maybe and she said it was 5 Oz and hard. Wow!! Cole slaw wasn’t very good.

In the 10 years I’ve lived in this town, I’ve eaten at this specific location only a handful of times. Every single time I have been to this location. The staffing is rude and just pushes you out the door, no customer service whatsoever. The food is mediocre, and from personal experience, 4/5 times food poisoning is a given. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Update: Gave them another try their grill was done this time. I’ve been trying to call to see if it is fixed so I can order grilled items but they never answer the phone.

Senior meals is posted with 20oz drink but you get an 8 oz drink. When I asked about it, manager said policies change so I told him to change his sign and he said he can’t.

The best one of their locations hands down! The employees are always nice and friendly. Their very accommodating if you need to substitute something and its always clean. If your looking for fish as a fast food option this is the spot to go to.
