At our Overland, MO location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Paid $4 for the saddest amount of fried okra. Also ordered the 2 piece hand dipped fish and this is what we get. The only thing that came out somewhat reasonable was the kids meal. Not worth $24 at all.

I had a great experience at Captain D’s! The food was hot, fresh, and flavorful, and the fish was perfectly crispy without being greasy. The staff Leshonna was friendly and efficient, and our order came out quickly. Definitely a solid spot when you’re craving seafood at a good price. I’ll be back!

Had the best customer service at the Captain D’s located on Page Blvd in Overland, MO! Food was prepared well and was really good. The best experience I’ve had from Captain D’s in a LONG time! I didn’t get the manager’s name but she and her whole team were amazing. Greeted everyone that walked through their door or pulled up in their drive thru….and this was during their lunch rush! Great job!

The food we ordered was terrible. We ordered catfish, that didn’t look like catfish and was very “fishy” in smell and taste not the normal taste of their food. We also ordered 2 baked white fish which both barely had seasoning and tasted very bland and not the taste we are used to. Had to drown it in hot sauce, the little i put on for the picture did it no justice.
The food just was not up to par as normal. It was definitely a waste of $46.

I went to this location last night for dinner. The young lady who took my order was very pleasant and sweet. She took my order in a timely manner and even asked me if I wanted condiments. I feel that most restaurants make you ask for them instead of offering so this was nice. I appreciated her very warm personality. She even smiled at me when she gave my food and told me to have a very nice night. A smile? at a fast food place? It was so refreshing to receive such great customer service. Literally not one complaint and the food was delicious. I will be back over and over if they keep up with such nice service.

I just visit the captain deeds On Page and Watson. I asked for the manager so I can give the location a review. Her name was Maisha. Her energy was well. The food was so fresh. It was nothing to complain about. Keep up the good work. Her staff was so nice. The young lady at the drive-through was so nice. She called me a queen and everything. I love the atmosphere.

Upon entering the guy in front of me was talked down to because he was deemed homeless, and they didn’t want to be bothered by him. Today I had one of the rudest experiences I’ve encountered with customer service. Every time I go my food is messed up/missing items and/or cold. This place is ridiculous. I’m at the point that I will not return to this restaurant.
I ordered my food and I usually check it, but this time I didn’t I was kind of in a hurry. When I got home I noticed an item was missing. I called and spoke to the manager and was told that they would replace my meal for the next day. So I went back up there the next day and they did not replace my meal. They just gave me the missing item. So I wasn’t told the truth. When when it comes to customer service, when you inconvenience the customer, you’re supposed to go above and beyond to rectify the issue because they had to go out of their way. I would not recommend this place, and will not be returning. Undercooked chicken!!!!! Here’s a picture of the turd ball chicken they have me!
I tried to give them another try so I ordered their garlic fish and shrimp and it came with no garlic sauce but a bunch of sauces I didn’t order. This place is just doomed.

I must say that our food was on point and delicious! The service was excellent and the Atmosphere was welcoming! We ordered the lobster rolls with fries! It was so good we returned the next day and ordered it again! The workers at this location were all friendly! It’s rare that I give all five stars but they deserve it! Oh! I almost forgot to mention the red velvet cheesecake is a must have!

Drove 25 minutes because I came from Tennessee where captain D’a are closer together, but, the heart wants what the heart wants. Thalia provided exactly what I asked. Catfish , shrimp and coleslaw, without the stuff I didn’t need. Every thing perfectly cooked inside of 10 minutes!
