We went to Captain D’s last night. It is always so clean. The staff provide amazing customer service. A very polite young man waited on us thru the drive thru and was simply the best. In addition, the lady that manages the place has been there forever. She is constantly walking around and checking on customers. She is an asset!

The amazing people that work at this particular location are to be praised! They are so dedicated, it’s almost as if they are a family unit working together. I’ve gone in every 2 or 3 days for about the last 5 or 6 yrs, ( sweet tea ), and it’s always consistent!! You know you are gonna leave there with a smile no matter how your day has gone! I’ve just never seen a restaurant where even the young (part-time students) stay there for years. They work just as hard to keep customers coming back as the veterans who have been there for yrs. I really want people to know how wonderful these hard working people are because it’s no longer “the norm” in our world to experience this at a fast food restaurant. I dont do reviews usually, but, this great staff needs celebrated!!

Ok, I’d like to tell the manager of that Captain D’s in Columbus indiana, that the service this lady gives goes beyond most workers I’ve seen, she is very clean,polite, patient with customers and very respectful. Nowadays you get workers that have to work, she is the kind that likes to work, the way she runs this restaurant is beautiful, not every body sees she is doing the job of two or more people but i visit this restaurant and didn’t take me long to notice her exceptional work. Even watchin that the meals are served fresh every time . The love she puts in her job is admirable, She goes by “May” . Thank you and i think this was needed to be mentioned.

Outdated. Needs to be gutted and updated. Just telling it like it is. It’s just like any other place you visit, they seem to forget to take care of the business. Not worth the cost they are thinking, truthfully it’s one of those places that’s stuck in the past. Enough said. You can never be to clean, you want your customers to be safe. Want them to come back, have them tell others what a nice place they visited.

Had Two meals #1 4 PC Chicken tenders with green beans and Mac and cheese. The tenders were delicious, the green beans had onions and ham,and the Mac and cheese was very cheesy.#2 2 PC breaded fish meal.The fish was hot and freshly cooked. The French fries were also hot and freshly cooked. Had the green beans. Both meals had tasty hush puppies. The service was great. Both meals around $21 dollars..Will eat here again.

I ordered through Door Dash but I had to comment that for a seafood fastfood, it was great ! It was still crispy and I loved everything on the plate (fish, chicken, shrimps, okras, hush puppies) !

The Columbus location is the only one I’ll eat at! Just can’t beat their quality of food. Their restaurant is always clean and seem to have the best staff! Plus, always reminds me of my childhood 🙂

We love Captain D’s in Columbus, we stop there often. But this visit was, well, uncomfortable. They serviced a person with a mental health condition. This “person” got his food and began to seemly speak with someone with an ear piece. BUT! He didn’t have an ear piece! He bagan ranting about not being able to accept a woman because of ear piercing. He became loud as if arguing with someone on the phone. Speaking of religion things that were offensive. The management did NOTHING! They could hear him shouting. It’s the responsibility of the management to deal with unruly customers. They just ignored his ranting and allowed him to disturb the rest of the customers. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK!
