At our Marietta, OH location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Reviews
I had not had Captain D’s in a long time and decided to have it today for lunch.
I went through the drive-thru and was out in seconds. I got back to the office, opened my meal and come to find it was room temp. Took a bite of the chicken first-it had obviously been cooked way before I arrived and sat. Hard as a rock! So I moved onto the fish-same!
I was the only customer, it is hard to tell how long the food was cooked prior to my arrival. I say sometime, for the food temp was well below 70 degrees, if I am correct on this I could only imagine the bad bacteria I just took a bite of. My fingers are crossed my stomach gives me no fits..
Very disappointed, I know the structure and contents have not been updated since I was a kid and I am pushing 47. I should’ve paid attention to the lack of business during the lunch hour and kept on going.
I did call to let them know that it is NOT servable, however I don’t think they cared to much. Carry on I guess however your parking lot at 12:00 should not be empty.
After reading the recent reviews I would have to say the doors will possibly be closed soon.
I am guessing the food we were given was leftover from days prior. Very disappointed…
Edit: just when I thought it couldn’t get worse I moved on to their chicken. Paper thin. Burnt.
How is captain D’s even still in business???
