At our Circleville, OH location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

This is hands down the BEST Captain Ds I’ve ate. The fish is fried to perfection, the hush puppies are always on point and never dry and the fries are lightly seasoned and just as fresh as the fish. Its worth the hour drive to eat here. I drive down at least once a month. Oh and the workers are very friendly. I have no problem leaving a tip for this crew, even through the drive thru. (Smile)

The service is great but the dining room is still closed. By the time I get home, the food is cold and soggy. It would be awesome if we could eat it hot. Please open the dining room back up and we will return.

This place is absolutely atrocious! The dining room is closed for unknown reasons. You need to have your dining room open for customers. After we discovered dine in was closed, we went through the drive-thru and nobody took our order. We decided to go to the one in Chillicothe. The dining room was open and they actually took our order. Will definitely not be returning to the Circleville location.

Fed up with circleville not opening the dining room. Drive thru is slow, covid is long over what is wrong with people nowadays. Is it really that hard to open the dining room so people can sit down and eat. It creates no additional work and a ton of additional business. Somebody somewhere do something about management.

The best captain D’s I’ve ever ate. The food was hot, fresh and so good. We were passing through on our way home from Columbus and so glad we did.The dinning room was closed so we ate in the car but I would make the hour drive just to get food again from here.

We live in Lancaster. By the time we get home to eat the food is cold and soggy. We have pretty much give up on the dining room ever reopening. For this reason we are giving you only two stars. When it’s open you would get way more.
