At our Byram, MS location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

When I placed my order, she didn’t ask if I wanted something to drink with my meal. I waited 20 minutes for my food even though the people who ordered before me got there’s in 5 minutes. The stuffed crab still had their eyes in it. I ordered mac n cheese and fries for my side, and I got okra where the fries should have been. Food had no flavor.

I tried the new spicy fish and it was good but too much salt in the season. The place was clean and the workers were friendly also… Pic was taken after i got home from 69 mile drive & food was cold by then but still good.

Not gone lie.. the chicken was not the best. The broccoli and mac and cheese were room temperature. The fish was great and also the shrimp . Its usually better than this. I’m not sure what was going on this day.

Food is so so, service was fantastic! I ordered the spicy fish with okra and fries. It comes with hushpuppies that were surprisingly delicious! The fries were good, and the okra was great, but the fish I could have gone without. The fish was overcooked, and extremely greasy. I did not finish the fish. I may go back and try a different fish. Overall, I feel 4 stars is worthy. I will not judge because I didn’t care for 1 item. The service and other food is worthy of a surprising 5!

I had a not so good experience at this restaurant today however the district manager made it better. He made me feel heard. He made sure I was okay with spending my money at this establishment. I understand everybody has bad days but when you work in service push it to the side!! Food was great. Attitudes were horrible. Distasteful. But upper management handled it the best way I could have asked. I will eat here again

The food kinda taste like old grease. I spent $50 dollars on our food and it all tasted the same…Like old grease. This is the only time I have EVER had bad food here. I hope they will be better the next time I come or I will not be back.
