At our Jackson, MS location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

My fiance and I stopped by after a doctor’s appointment to grab a bite to eat ok the inside.. Although the drive through was really busy, they took the time to acknowledge us immediately. Very impressive. I love Shawn..

The food was fresh and so delicious .. the atmosphere was nice and calm.. An overall great experience. They deserve a 10 for sure‼️

Food was horrible and not just a waste of money and time but an absolute waste of calories!!! Not only was my order for fish wrong and they gave me chicken instead but it was stale and the manager told me that it was fish…as he put it there NEW fish!!! I was going to have them remake my order but his attitude said otherwise. Been here before and never had a problem but I will never return.

Wow! Today’s visit was awesome! My food was so good, cooked fresh! You can tell when food has been sitting under a lamp! This was FRESHLY made. I got the Ultimate Seafood Platter and everything including the sides were tasty and fresh. With FF restaurants, the turn over is high so a lot of times when you visit, you never know what kind of team is serving you. These people were awesome and the cashier gave GREAT service! She took my plate to the table I chose, without me asking her to, and without me needing that done! Kudos Captain D’s!!!
