At our Columbia, TN location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

When me and my wife walked in it stunk so bad of weed. Then I go into the bathroom and it’s ice cold smells like sewage & so dirty. By far the absolute worst captain Ds we’ve ever been to. Do not recommend this place, wouldn’t recommend it to my dog.

-5 stars would be too good. The place is filthy. The floors look and feel like they haven’t been mopped in a month. Everywhere you look is just grimy and nasty, including the employees. Service was awful, no lemon for the tea. The food was completely inedible. The manager’s excuse was that everyone was new. They did refund our money. Stay away from this place!!

Stopped in yesterday which was Friday evening. I was the only one in the restaurant ordering. I ordered a 2 piece fish and fries it took right at 15 minutes to get my order because there was no fish cooked. But they were putting orders out the window for the driver through . And when I got it the fish wasn’t completely done. I hadn’t been sitting down but 2 to 3 mins. And this other couple came and sit down waiting on their food. I’m a slow eater I had finished eating and they were still waiting on their food and were getting very irritated waiting. They need to do better.

The food is classic Captain D’s as it’s been for the last 40+ years. Very nostalgic and reminds me of family. The service seems to be a little scattered and is the direct result of being understaffed. I’ve always gotten my correct order, but it takes a little time and you may hear some bickering between the front counter and the kitchen while you wait.

if i possibly could i would give this place 0 stars. today as i was halfway through eating my meal, i opened my baked potato only to find that MAGGOTS had been cooked inside. took back to the store n got my money back. NEVER eating here again.

The person taking orders asking me to repeat my order twice and got it wrong even though I repeated it. When I got to the drive thru I found out why, they had an earbud in and were on a call while on shift. I understand emergencies and all but this was clearly not the case. I also spent nearly 15 minutes idling waiting and my fries were cold and hard, the fish was ok… but come on.
