HORRIBLE!!! Customer service is horrible also! It took 20 minutes for them to take my order because someone was on the phone!
The FRIED okra taste boiled, the fish is soggy and the atmosphere gives Cracker Barrel!
I highly recommend you coming here if you want to see Jesus the same day, my stomach is in shambles!
Then….. the shaved head manager gone tell me I can only refill my tea cup twice but she’ll work with me lol I then explained to her that’s not a policy and to give me my tea. Lol

On my last visit. Ms. Z took my order. She was MORE than amazing. She made sure I got my money’s worth. By making suggestions and tell me about the different specials they offer.
She did not rush me or the guests behind me. She was patient and throughly explained the menu to the guests that order after me.
When my order was ready she showed me my plate and I noticed a small error. She went above and beyond to make it right. She told me she was the new manager here. So since she took care of me on my last visit…it’s only right to extend that same courtesy.

Haven’t been to this location in over a year due to cooking more. Had a relative in from out of town who wanted to try them out. Horrible customer service is not even the worst to say about this location. Whomever the leadership is for this location should really start during monthly evaluation on their team, because they have no knowledge or care about being polite to the people who are the reason they even have a job in the first place. Get it together people.

I visited the Captain D’s on Hackcross road the customer service was great. The restaurant was very clean. The food was hot and fresh. I haven’t had Captain D’s in a while , but I was very pleased with everything.

Very displeased with my experience with this location. We ordered two meals and they gave us 3 and the whole order was wrong. We also had stuff missing. When we contacted the store directly, the acting manager told us that she was the one that made the order and refused to believe it was wrong. Then she proceeded to tell us to not eat the food and to bring it back the next morning so they could remake our food. She also laughed at us when we told her this was an inconvenience for us at 10pm. Upon observing the food we noticed multiple layers of batter on the fish where they had redipped and recooked it. I don’t know how their ratings keep going up because this place needs to be shut down. They’re either removing comments or paying someone to leave positive reviews. This is insane.

We waited over 50 minutes in the drive thru for a online pickup. By the time we got our food it was not that good. My shells tasted old and so did my fish. The chicken strips are small. Forgot some condiments that we ordered.

Wednesday, June 4, 2025, the order I placed was repeated correctly by the cashier however, it was entered into the cash register wrong and I was charged the wrong price. The price was $61.28. I knew something was fishy going on when I was first told my card was declined. I knew that was wrong. The cashier had unplugged or manipulated the card machine. The manager on shift at the cash register #1 told the young girl that took my order to not unplug the device again. I found that quite odd and she quickly scanned my card again. This was done with quick motion and totally ignoring my comments about retrieving my card from them. The young girl and the manager were very rude and would pretend like they could not hear or understand what I was saying to them about my order. Once they handed me my food through the drive-thru window I pulled over and parked and checked my food. I found that I had been charged for coleslaw that cost $6.39. I did ask for one additional tartar sauce and I knew that I would be paying extra for it because the young lady that rang me up told me so and I told her that was fine. I also found that the cheesecake that I ordered was not a cheesecake. Instead it was a box of mozzarella sticks. I tried to explain this to them as I drove back around rather than cutting in front of everyone, instead they told me to come up to the front to get a cheesecake but, they still refuse to listen. I guess they thought if they gave me something free I would be okay about that. I was insulted due to the fact the manager was very rude and refused to have a discussion about my order being wrong. So I said to her. You charged me for things I did not ask for. Giving me a cheesecake for free does not fix my problem. Because your cashier does not know the difference between tartar sauce and coleslaw. The cashier insisted that the tartar sauce was coleslaw and that she had done her job. I told her we do not eat coleslaw. I don’t want it and it shouldn’t be on my ticket. I didn’t order mozzarella sticks and throwing a cheesecake on the counter is not correcting the problem with my money. The manager then told me we don’t do refunds because the drawer is already closed. I knew she could not be talking about the store because this happened well before it was time to close so she may have been referring to the order. Since she was being so rude that maybe what made her communication off a little. I told her I was not looking for a refund. I simply wanted my money that was owed to me that they took without permission and without those particular items even being ordered. She thought that her rudeness, swiftness, intentionally ignoring me would dismiss this issue. She told me as if she knew my schedule to come back tomorrow and tell the manager on Friday, that I needed a refund. Now if you couldn’t give me a refund yesterday what makes you think you can give me a refund tomorrow. I’m no fool. The plane with the credit card machine and intentionally adding on items that we did not ask for let me know this must be an ongoing problem and it has not been addressed. When I thought about it, if they’re doing this all day. And not refunding anyone back their money behind their mistakes they’re either stealing money or food for themselves at the end of the day as if it has been paid for by them when actually the customers have paid for this food that has not been refunded rightfully. I was clearly not an isolated case. As I closely paid attention to how they also handled the customers on the inside. The same thing that happened to me at the drive-thru window was also happening at the counter inside the store. I saw a man complain about not having all of his food that came with what he ordered. The way that manager took the takeout box and threw this man’s bread and whatever else inside of the box in such a way that it would make you not want to eat the food from this location on hacks Cross and Lowrance. I did my best to be polite, discreet and understanding. My child was even disgusted by the cashier and Manager’s behavior. Part 1

First time visiting this place. It was a good portion of food. The chicken have they’re own spices, the fish was a little bland, but combine wells with the tartar sauce, I did like the hush puppies and the side of coleslaw and brocoli were good. There are paper towel rolls at the table for your convenience, It is fried food, you will get dirty hands. About service they where doing their jod, hello, take order, order up and that is. The place was clean, Floor, tables and restrooms too.
